Disconnection issue isn't fixed

Blizz mentioned the issue was fixed around four hours ago yet here I am still having the same issues. I log in then almost a minute later I’m disconnected.

This doesn’t appear to be fixed from my experience so far, anyone else?

i’ve been having the same happen for a very long time after many tickets i just gave up…

I can play other char, it’s just the one that it started on is stuck for a solid few minutes… they don’t care to help you and just post automated replies… i’ve tried everything, and am at the point where i’m 100% sure it’s on their part and nothing i can do anymore…

Has this been addressed yet?
I’ve been getting regularly disconnected multiple times upon first launch of wow and then again after coming back from taking a break.
Log in, disconnect once or twice then seems to remain connected.
I first thought this was a firewall or internet connection issue but it only seems to happen with wow.
I’m using the beta bnet launcher - could that contribute to these types of disconnects?

This started happening to me since the servers went down 2 days ago.

fiber connection with 5 ms max but I get random disconnects, at least once per hour if not more often at times.

Yes I have this issue. It’s a new issue for me. Never had problems with disconnects before. Now it is disconnecting several times a night. I have tried a few things like clearing cache, disabling add ons etc and it doesn’t make any difference. It is definitely a game issue as it mainly happens while standing around in Boralus. It has never happened to me in an instance run (and I am in them constantly). Not sure what the problem is?

No, if the hop was truly dead, your connection wouldn’t pass through it at all. This just means that the specific hop is refusing ICMP packets.

I’ve had this issue for a year. Sometimes it disconnects me multiple times seconds after logging in before it finally lets me play.

EDIT: Added in WINMTR results.

Not sure how long I’m experiencing this but it has become more frequent over the past few months at least. Traceroutes show that the response time on everything but the Blizzard nearest server seems to have latency / timeouts at least during pings. (Would probably be different with other kinds of packets as pings can be throttled)

The server is situated in Amsterdam.

Is anything being done to address this issue?
My guildies and me are experiencing this issue way too often.
During raid progression we have several people, myself included, frequently disconnect.
In keys I get disconnected way too often.
This issue is making it impossible to play.

Out of curiousity, I am seeing a recurring theme in the thread where people mention they are using the beta version of the Blizzard desktop app. Is everyone that is experiencing this issue using the beta version of the desktop app?

If so, please revert out of the beta version (click the Blizzard icon in the top left and choose settings, followed by beta category on the left hand side) and see if the issue persists. Once you have tested it for a bit, get back to this thread and share the outcome especially if its working as then we know the issue resides with the beta version of the app.

Hello. Im using the old version of Battle.net app (standard) and got yesterday three times disconnection. But discord and other programs worked fine, with no lag spike. I dont know, will this information helps you.

Not using the Beta version. Just logged into the game. 3 minutes or so into I get a DC. Quickly ran a traceroute and, once again, the issue is with ae1-br02-eqam1.as57976.net - ping is 1000ms.

Two-three days ago there were zero disconnects and there was a feeling that it’s fixed.
This is still happening - yesterday and today. I got disconnected twice literally in the span of 5 minutes just now.
Ran a traceroute, the same domain is lagging. Again.
Can we please GET THIS FIXED ALREADY? This is INCREDIBLY ANNOYING.
