Disconnection issues on retail

Hello, I am experiencing repeated disconnections and world server lag (chat works, game lag, no fps drops). instance transfer aborted issues too. This has started about 3 days ago, up until that point there were no issues.
Whenever I disconnect I am still online on discord, talking to my friends - they can hear me, however I disconnect regardless. It seems to be a server issue.
my ISP is HOTnet.
I would also like to note that I have tried all the networking solutions: restarting router\computer, flushing dns, updating drivers, restarting UI (no addons), deleting cache\WTF\interface folders. All of these did not help.

P.S: The past two days I could get into character selection screen with no problem (probably based on home connection) but after choosing a character and being in loading screen, WOW51900319\BLZ51901016 error appears. About once per 10 logins I manage to get past and the issue described above appears.

I can provide Dxdiag and MSInfo if needed (sadly your ticketing system has not worked for me in 2 days).

Running pathping, tracerts at the moment and will update the post as I go. WinMTR aswell, however, I am not sure if the data it will provide will help as I cant get past the character selection screen.

I am playing on Stormscale-EU if that makes any difference.

I have the same ISP, and you describe exactly the same issue I have.
Even the traceroute and Pathping looks familiar.
I posted the issue on another thread https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/cant-get-passed-charactar-selection/139895.
I hope this will get fixed soon.

I have spoken with my ISP, however, they claimed that the issue is not on their end. This sounded right to me because it is only the world connection that gave me trouble, and the tests that I have done with my ISP (download\upload speeds, pinging servers abroad) have yielded satisfactory results. They have suggested flushing dns\restarting router etc, but I have attempted these several times so my provider asked me to contact Blizzard.
Sadly I am no expert with packets - could you please assist me and specify what the problem seems to be on the ISP’s end according to the tests so I could pinpoint it for them to fix?

Hello from an expat living in Vietnam,

I am having similar issues and as i mentioned in another post this started 2 days ago. its caused by world latency because my home latency is as usual, did all the steps on the support articles contacted ISP nothing points to my end. Can you suggest something other than asking over and over again for the tracerts and take our word for it when we say we already did everything that are on the articles and forward these complaints to necessary departments and get this fixed? we would appreciate it.

P.S. : sorry if i sounded a bit salty but constant Dcs, massive latency spikes for the last 2 days when we HAVE TO stay home is kind of infuriating.

I am having similar problem since today. Yesterday was raiding with my guild without any trouble but today when I log in I get DC after 2 mins of playing - DC error is WOW51900319. I have done everything possible, reinstalled everything, updated drivers, used three different internet sources. It happens in classic and in retail. All my other friends can play :(((
I am living in Poland if this could help in any way

another thing, when I’m in the game and want to log out it wont log me out, but I can interact with the world

I can report the same. Chat is working, everyone is moving around me (seems like they can see me move too), mobs are casting spells, but keypresses (skills, mounting up etc) do not register.

edit: do not register = button lights up, skill doesn’t go off.

Aye mate, I had the same too for the past couple of days. I missed raids and failed m+ and visions cause of it. I always blamed it on my internet but seeing how others are having the same issues as I do, I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one.

Hello dear Blizzard.
I thought to get back to game and start subscription.
I logged into my 20 level character and wanted to check what is going with game.
Then i joined Dungeon Finder, found team and started to do it.
But after 20-30 min I got disconnect.
I closed the game client, run it again, logged into game, picked one of my char and tried to enter world, but again got disconnect.
After 10-20 min i tried the same steps, and got inside world.
And latency monitor show around 10 000 - 20 000 ms home latency / 70 world latency . During around 30 min playing home latency got to it common value 70. I repeated all these steps many times to check.
So, steps are -
1 - Log into game.
2 - Pick character and enter world, latency home 70 / world 70.
3 - Start dungeon.
4 - After 20-30 min playing dungeon get disconnect.
5 - Log into game.
5 - Pick character and trying to enter world.
7 - Get disconnect.
8 - Wait 10-20 min
9 - Log into game again.
10 - Pick character and trying to enter world
11 - Enter world, latency home 10 000 - 20 000 / world 70
12 - Wait inside the game around 30 min, home latency gradually get to 70 and i have home 70 / world 70
13 - Then again join dungeon.
14 - Play 10-20 min inside dungeon and get disconnect.
I thought to fix it.
I removed all blizzard folders in AppData, ProgramData.
I removed WTF, Cash, Interface Folders, got completely fresh game, flush dns etc. and repeated all the steps. result was the same: disconnect from the game with insane high home latency.
In other hand i did the same with character on other low populated realm
and didn’t got disconnect at all.
Other online games like eve-online , world of tank run smoothly. no one get disconnect.
I ask Blizzard to allow me transfer all my mains away from lagging Outland to any low populated realm. Then i will pay subscription for playing.

I have the same issue, and its not because of our ISP, as all those issues started when Shadowlands alpha released.
I also tried to create ticket including all the Tracert, DxDiag and MSinfo but there is an error while trying to Submit the ticket (i clicked submit but I get error from blizzard to try again and i have tried… )
