I frequently get disconnected at random. Some sessions it happens 5-6 times other sessions not at all.
It happens a lot when flying somewhere from Oribos, but also occurs when doing quests or in dungeons.
I’m on a wired connection.
Router and modem have been reset and drivers are up to date. DNS has been flushed and I have released and renewed the IP.
Unfortunately that did not help.
It only happens when playing WoW. No issues whatsoever in other games.
Just started getting this happening the past 2 days, nothing on my end has been changed, restarted router, cleared wow cache, all the usual stuff etc , just random DC’s for no reason at all, usually happens when mounting or clicking an npc, getting beyond a joke now.
Not only is this expansion the worst I’ve ever played but the actual game optimisation and stability is appalling , nothing but issue after issue since Shadowlands launch. I also play many other games most far more demanding than WoW and they are perfect no issues at all
Was in torghast and then randomly after targeting a npc I got disconnected and if I try log in I keep getting this error. If I try to log into a different character or change server I get the same error. Literally nothing has changed on my end and my internet works like it should.
EDIT: fixed it by using the stuck character option on the site
I’ve been having this same issue for quiet the while now, but when I log back in people don’t even seem to notice I’ve DC’d. Nothing else drops connection for me.

Got this same error on a newly made alt of mine (when I try to log on to him, it says “You have been disconnected from the server. (WOW51900319)”) Doesn’t seem to happen on my other characters.
i am experiencing the same.
in instanced content like m+, battlegrounds, raids, torghast i get disconnected two or three times in a row, but only from wow, discord and my internet connection remains up.
i’ve tried all fixes, resets, every driver update. i also contacted my isp that made a check and everthing was fine for them.
I really dunno what to do, its very frustrating, and there is no solution.
For me it seems to be a realm problem, cause i was able to play with my starter account untill i tried to log in my realm Twisting Nether. Now the starter account can`t login too.
It’s been happing to me for months. Similar to those above, I have tried the ‘solutions’ recommended by tech support. It’s becoming a real pain.
Now I just alt f4 immediately and relog on, because I am never actually disconnected. That sometimes prevents too much damage from being done.
I’ve been getting this error ever since Shadowlands launched, its random though, can go for a few days and never see it, then some days it pops up every time I change character.
But I don’t get disconnected like the error implies, I usually just click the “okay” button on the error and continue, log the character and everything’s fine.
Absolutely nothing wrong with my game or connection its more like this actually error is bugged
Sorry to hear that some of you have been experiencing connection issues. There can be a myriad of causes from damaged addons/ui elements, background applications, connection data quality, or even other limitations in place by ISP for certain programs.
