has done more to combat the scourge of WTS ads than blizzard did with its lipservice and 3 month ban waves. Ban waves that dont seem to lessen the WTS ads so how effective are they then? And if they are not effective why are blizzard not doing them more often?
Why are they not banning more often?
Why is blizzard incapable of adding code that will scan and ban players that abuse the system automtically without human input? Because they do not want to bite the hand that feeds them?
The majority of players do not use nor buy boosts. The ones that do cant be that great of a number.
If blizzard does not bring down the ban hammer swiftly after they get their channel then you will know where their priorities stand. Money. Not you, the player. Money. They are willign to shaft you, the player for the sake of real life funds.
i think its fine that lvl 10-50 chars offer me a good time in m+ for gold in tradechat and the dungeon/raid tool…oh wait thats against TOS, but blizz has no manpower to do anything in this regard.
boosting communities were better than this crap of “personal/guild” groups which advertise with low level chars and can scam the s*** out of you.
I dont care if you want to buy boosts. That is your busniess. I dont use them.
What i do care about is the non-stop steam of WTS ads stacked a dozen deep X5 stacks in the que’s.
It takes a fricken addon to remove them and it does not even catch all of them so you will be staring at ads no matter what.
There are three issues that have stopped me playing wow. Burn out. WTS ads in the que and a case of tinitus that ultimately will make playing not an option anymore.
If, after they get their channel and the WTS ads rule is not enforced i will once again leave wow. I am a paying customer. I dont buy game time with gold. If they want to lose a paying customer for the sake of boosters so be it.
And therein lies the rub. They seem to care more about the boosters then the people paying for this game. I have called myself a mug before for paying for this crap.
What?Half of the 3k rio in Season 3 were boosted.Heroic raid achievements also.They have a bundle -package of prices to satisfy the needs.
Boosting is very active because it is asked for.

the advertisment is wrong and you see links to rmt sites in the dungeon and raidtool which is bad and blizz is weak in not perma ban them.
and this is just wrong…i boosted so many people…they were from lfr to mythic raider, gladi pvp. you can name it, i boosted it. Its really easy gold, if you know what you have to do. Im not the auction house botter…i mean “tsm” player user, but thats a different topic.
If you want to boost people. Fine. I dont care. Just keep your damn ads out of the que’
And since when did blizzard need manpower to ban people. They can code a game but cant write a few scripts, not even C#, to ban people that post in the que’s.

Who are these people that buy boosts, how old are they? They same folks who throw money at streamers? There must be a younger generation that loves to just throw money out of the window.
So what if you cant do a 10-15 key, but need to step down a few levels to match your gear/skills?
They will simply find other ways to approach their clientele.
Since a lot of people are on a crusade to “destroy the symptoms” yet nobody even gives 2 cents about why these boosting services seems to be so “popular& in demand”…
I don’t understand why anyone would like to buy a boost tho! Same goes with all cheats in games, it takes away all the fun!
If you don’t like the game enough to play it, just “alt f4” instead
Because it’s not that simple? Coding really isn’t just “make whatever you want and it just works like that”, especially here. These systems will make mistakes, what then? Then you have tons of innocent people banned, and Blizzard trying to figure out which ones are guilty, and which ones aren’t, which can’t always be done with precision.
