if blizz kreps release the good stuff behind harder achievements, boosting will never die.
you want that cool looking mount? wts +15-20. tmog for 1800xp? here is s pvp boost. fancy jailer mount? boost!
its too hard for the majority of the players. thats why it is popular
Yeah, donât let evidence stand in the way of your âfactsâ.
So if i would start spamming trade chat, without actually managing to sell it most of the time, that would increase the rate of boosted people? Probably not, even if you see someone say that it would.
Observe trade chat? Or RIO? Because if its the latter, anyone can see that vast majority of the high io players play with a premade group all the time and not just one time boost runs with boosting groups.
Find it and convince me otherwise. What is the problem really if i believe what i believe?
You are all just triggered to patronize me because âŚAnd without data to prove that it is not true.
Ye boosters stay there spamming without selling. That thought is naive. And the bosting sites are there for no reason at all.
Players.We donât play different game.
If you are on the not boosted other half you should not be bothered at all.
Now⌠i donât think this will lead to a constructive conversation anyway. So âŚTY âŚbb.
they need to add AI team alternative to M+ no more boosting needed no more you have to lisen to toxic players ⌠no more have to lisen to raid leaders what rage every time you wipe âŚ
That would work you know, but they would also have to change the way they conduct their game.
What I have gleaned from this post is that people who âboostâ for progression, can affect the game as their gear and achievements lead other people to assume, and actively count on their level of skill. If this is gained through a boost or carry, then that evidence has no use.
However the people who boost or carry for cosmetic/mount/mog rewards donât affect you in anyway. They are just equalising a system that purposefully removes rewards before they can be obtained in the way these people usually play the game.
Which leads to the question, why are cosmetic/mount/mog rewards always added as this part of the content. If they removed them, and put them in open world content through questing, rep grind, time gated to hell if you want. They would still have the same affect on the game as ever. They do nothing, they donât indicate anything and they certainly donât help progression.
Rewards for progression should aid and support just that, they should continually add to your power to allow you to complete and and excel in your more challenging content.
The time gate achievements add your much needed prestige.
However while they continually prioritise only one part of their gaming community, they are effectively forcing the others to pay for boosts just to gain cosmetics, which Blizzard arenât daft, know is one of the key motivators for solo collectible players. It still bugs me that previous expansion content isnât legacy yet. Come onâŚ
So yes, ban the buyers, but also get over this stupid biasâŚ
yes itâs MMO but itâs also an RPGâŚlet those of us who donât wish to play your way, have access to the rewards we play for, in content we find enjoyable.
And lets just say I am also for ALL of us having our way, but I do agree that gear level is only pertinent to more challenging content, if your gear level does what you want to do itâs enoughâŚ
But I will never agree that cosmetic rewards should be only available in content where it actually serves no purpose.
But blizz is adding always tons of stuff for the open world players. Like ZM has transmog and tons of pets and mounts. Why is that 1 mount from AOTC so important?
Because a lot of people are collectors, and part of collecting is completionism.
I will add this is not me, I donât actively seek all the mounts only ones that would RPG go with my main a âHunterâ so far I have the Moose which I purchased a carry for, and the Void Dragon, which actually a lovely guild just added myself and my Husband in, just so last push we could get hold of itâŚ
So why lock any cosmetic reward behind group content, it serves you no purpose, it just forces players to try and find alternative ways to acquire. The problem is this makes money for Blizzard, so the cynic in me, doesnât think there is a cat in hellâs chance they will alter itâŚ
However the same reason exists in reverse, there are some open world players that believe that ilevel and progression gear should also be available in open world, and the answer to that is, why, you donât need itâŚ
but group play doesnât need some of the rewards gated their eitherâŚ
Again, Blizzard know this, and when they know these people are going to pay on top of their subscription to gain them, they have no incentive to change this.
Well, it is sort of prestige for people to be able to run around in dalaran on their pvp/raid/M+ mount. I do not understand why there should be no rewards like this for higher difficulty content.
Lets agree to disagree on this one.
So basically itâs elitist, so I can feel better than youâŚ
Which only works if the observer has the same perception of the reward as yourself.
I didnât say no rewards either, I just stated that they should be commensurate with the content you do. So your gear should be the best, it should have the most powerâŚ
Achievements add and reward your prestige, but there is always that need to have more, isnât there. Itâs human nature and it drives open world players to seek your high level gear.
Personally I just want to play my way, I only do this for fun and frolics, if Blizzard didnât time limit me, thatâs the only time I have to throw my wallet around. But heh hoâŚnothing in this world is perfect
Pffft elitist. People are just happy and proud of the challenges they have been through. Come on. This has nothing to do with feeling better than others. Those mounts are obtained by hundreds of thousands of players anyway.
We also made a happy picture when we timed our last 15 and created an image out of it (think this is season 2).

There is really nothing wrong with that. When people get hurt by others using a mount or transmog they do not have, then there is really something wrong with those people. Not with the people who use them.
What I have seen so far that the communities are back up the ban didnât really stop them.
if that was the case then blizzard would had advertised it as their pr and then how they care about the community .it is not . So it is discord taking an action not blizzard
your a booster for real money arent you?
for pve i mean
That it, just keep saying stupid things to prove my point.
Try this then if you need closure, if the mission table gets you ahead of the curve for less effort and frustration than the raid, then why would you not just get it from the mission table without needing to play your main which may have been ruined in recent times?
Because I donât want to play mission tables but do want to raid?
And if my main has been ruined and I donât want to play it, which is incidentally the case as my feral was my main for many years and I donât like it now, then I just raid with the mage. And I have done that.
and if they ruined the mage also, what would you do then?
Raid on my Druid.
And before you ask: If they ruined that too, Iâd quit and not give a damn.
thankfully mages always have at least one good spec
15 hours left on sub. Not going to renew. Reason why? Their pitiful stance on WTS ads in the M+ and Raid que;. Not even an addon will filter that crap out.
The WTS ads in the raid and M+ ques are not going to get any less. Their system has failed and boosters rule the roost with the blessing of blizzard. I am not paying for that.
If i have any future thoughts about returning to this game i will remind myself of the amount of ads you had to filter mentally. Rows and rows of them stacked 4 to 5 deep.
Not doing it anymore. If they can make rules they better damn well enfoce them. Currently they are not enfocing their rules vigorously enough to my liking.
