More the implication in doing so, what with the Rotgarde’s reputation for ‘keeping an eye’ on some people’s alts.
My main doesn’t post on the forums either. I hardly need to “stand by” something on my OOC main when they have no presence in the community apart from to play with a few friends. I don’t even understand what mindset is required for you to think that’s a requirement, given your own lot tend to post on DK alts all the time.
My friends do back me up! They just don’t tend to do so on a World of Warcraft forum, because I don’t think they need to.

That’s out of necessity rather than design
You used to kick them out, now you send them PMs telling them that they’re “causing problems by joining the PCU” trying to convince them (always unsuccessfully) to leave
I’m afraid that we’re so numerous (and more so by the day) that we are becoming pretty hard to avoid
