Discovery Channel is a laid back raiding guild formed a few weeks after TWW release.
We started out as a group of beginners and first time WoW players to see how far we could get in Season 1 in terms of raiding, the goal was to achieve Ahead of the Curve.
The Guild achieved this goal within Season 1 and also cleared the first 4 Mythic bosses.
We thought that this would take a little while longer given that majority of us was fairly new to the game and never raided before.
So with Season 2 we decided to go for a little more ambition, still not super “sweaty” or “tryhard” but we think we can do a little better.
We tried to keep the guild small around 15-18 people per raid but with mythic we need 20 people and we do not want to have to look for pugs every time we raid (takes too much time).
We are currently looking to add some people to our roster for a slow but steady progress at mythic and/or some M+ runs.
Some more Info about the Guild:
- 2 Raid days: Wednesday/Monday 8pm Server time till 11pm Server time. (skip run into mythic progress)
- 1 Public HC Raid: Friday 8pm Server time till 10:30pm Server time
- 8/8 HC in Liberation of Undermine
- Always trying to improve ourselves and learn from our mistakes
- Experience - while the core was fairly new we do have experienced players who can help with log reviews or general class advice
Requirements to join:
- Be friendly (I don’t tolerate any form of toxicity)
- Be active (If you are away for a few weeks please let me know)
- Be willing to improve (we all have to start somewhere
) - Actively participate in the guild (take part in the guild chat/discord)
There are additional requirements to join the mythic raid but those can be discussed in DMs.
We are currently have space for 2 -3 DPS players preferred ranged however we are not too fuzzed about it.
