I don’t think I understand what you’re trying to say, is your grasp of English slipping?
Edit:
Ooh, I can see the furious typing in the bottom right corner. What’s the retort going to be? Is it going to reference a meme that never reached outside of /pol/? Is it going to just be a personal attack? Stay and see!
We were talking about how night elf stans are the lowest common denominator of our community (read: stans, not fans. there’s a difference, look it up) because of how their actions lead to a child with cancer getting their name dragged through dirt online because of a weird perceived victim complex. Just because a datamined NPC they had no context for reused an already common name.
At no point has anyone talked about Sylvanas and her stans, because that’s not at all relevant to the current topic, and all it serves is act as a really bad attempt at whataboutism to salvage an already pretty bad attempt at defending the aforementioned toxic behaviour.
A really weird dig, Velnira. I’m actually playing Runescape on my other monitor at the same time and I ran out of antidote while on a kalphite task and had to get the heck out of dodge before the poison gets me. Sorry for the slow typing :S
Are you sure you want to start making personal digs?
Like I already said; You argue that one (Night elf ‘stans’) is the lowest point, and I noted that no, there’s plenty of room at the bottom for the ‘Sylvanas stans’ too.
I don’t know how I can be more blunt in stating “You’re attributing solely to one group a problem that is abundant in several other groups”. Do you need a diagram? I don’t have any crayons but I imagine I can use bright colors to illustrate it.
It’s also why you don’t adopt a smug tone when you’re working off limited information - a wise adage is that if you disagree on a topic, assume your ‘opponent’ knows something you do not.
It’s generally unwise to be smug in general as it means that nobody likes you, but especially when you’re liable to being shown wrong
You can cover up swear words with or , or reply to a post simply with an emoji as many are 10 characters. Hence why is a popular choice (that and calling people clowns online is a pretty common slang these days to refer to someone who believes ridiculous things) .
