Can we finally get this fixed? It was displayed back in the original wotlk…
You’re right it was displayed in the original. Not sure why it’s not visible in Classic.
Just get some addons
dfq would I install some random third party addon for a simple feature that was added to the game decades ago?
Why do you need it? Is the stats good and better than you have? Use it unless it screws over something like setbonuses. Or do you want to know if it is worth saving to rigg the RDF/LFM system?
because the game already needs at least 10 addons to be bearly playable; what’s one more gonna hurt
Agreed. A higher ilevel doesn’t always mean it’s better for you, it’s the stats that matter.
Cause it was in the original wotlk(period)
No it was not. It was added later.
Patch 3.2.0: Item level: A new option has been added under Display in the Interface Options to show the item level on item tooltips.
Classic is just a half a$$ed patchwork between retail and legacy stuff. Theres many stuff that was or was not “back in the days”.
For instance you used to be able to cast buffs/hots on lowbies (it auto adjusted max rank possible used in this case) but now if you have it in macro it will not work, clicking ability via spellbook will not work either, in order to do that you have to drag it off spell book to action bar.
