That thread is over 4 months old , and people stopped posting on it ages ago. So it does not say Hi it says i need a new fresh thread.
Not getting lucky at the vault is the probably the last thing I’d complain about. It’s alright. I get decent stuff more often than not.
My highest level item was a ring with the worst possible stats for me, the next two items I already have, and the final ones were lvl 200s.
So yeah, yet (another) bad week 
I should stop being a coward and actually start pushing keys.

220 -> 226 pants upgrade with haste/mastery instead of vers/mastery, +35 dps or so. Now I still have 2x223 and 2x213 items left to upgrade, maybe one day 
I mean, I was very disappointed that I didn’t get a second 226 weapon for fury, because last week I got an IQD with leech and 2x a 1h weapon for prot, all at 226. On a related note, the first dungeon I did after getting the 226 IQD, was a +14 DoS and it dropped 2x207 IQD.
Also the above pretty much sums up my entire luck in SL, because it took me 7 weeks to get a 226 weapon, was running around with 223/207 during that time as nothing ever dropped, and nothing from vault.
The only way to win the game of ‘The Great Vault’ is to not play.
So I don’t even open it.

I am very happy with the 3 x stygia.
I am not disappointed at all, because I have 0 expectation of the weekly vault.
There are still people doing M+ and expect something from the vault??? lolz.

It’s been better and it’s been worse.
lol spot on for anyone not mythic raider or high end pvper.

i only opened the vault twice since SL launched…
and in bfa i only opened about 4 chests…
its such a dull boring and RNG filled gearing system…
there is 0 fun in it lol.
why people log on week after week to do it is beyond my levels of rational thinking.

The stupid thing is that you do 3 types of content…and from 9 slots…you pick one…
So what’s the point on playing all content anyway…
I would really be so happy if they just delete the vault anyway…

the obvious answers are:
because a) you think its fun and b) to give you choice
it was never supposed to give you multiple items. the more content you play, the more items you can choose from. it is only there to “counter” when you ve gotten one bad item in the past and nothing else. now you at least have a higher chance of getting something useful. whether its an upgrade or not is 
because its still random loot at the end of the day.

the RNG is coded against the player too… higher gear u get … less chance you get of getting upgrades…
this is why i only ever unlocked the M+ line… and did none of the others…
its a waste of time… the rng makes the chances pretty much the same regardless of choice.
all the vault is … is pretty much lootbox in disguise… only you dont have to pay real money to open it.
EDIT actually… paying a sub counts i guess…
so yea the vault = lootbox.
funny thing is people are playing the game for the entire week for the chance to open that lootbox…
it is mind boggling that people fell for it lol.

Problem is and has been always with vault, the quality (ilvl) of vault item is to high.
yeah the disparity is way too high.
doing stuff to unlock upgrades from vault is literaly the only content there is in wow atm . so yes plenty of people push m+ hard. and by pushing hard i mean spending 2 hours getting declined for every 30 minutes of gameplay inside instance

i would argue you have higher chances of getting something good from a chest in borderlands than you do in the wow vault.

Tellin ya the vault is rigged
i have gotten 2 weeklies, both containing the exact same sword at exact same ilevel
and on my druid i got the same ring a 3rd time, luckily we have 3 options so i got a decent trinket ( not better than what i have tho )
Palla got a cheeki chestplate tho so cant complain too much :]
