Hello Devs, I would like to offer my individual feedback on the disturbed earth nodes in the war within.
I would rather click a node and kill something as opposed to doing some random requirement. I do not find it fun to be launched into the air and catch floating spore blobs, or have to defend a giant sack from kobolds, and let’s not forget chasing a kobold trying to get to the golden swirly in order to receive wax and other items (not fun)
As the title suggests this is just my individual feedback but I would rather click a disturbed earth, kill a mob and move on. Just something to add to the feedback pool (if any)
Most are ok (though I’m not at all fond of bouncing or catching things in the air; I’m not good at 3D stuff).
The worst, however, are the chickens. You get about 20 chickens swarming round you … the first time they appeared I actually died as SP aoe isn’t great, especially when you’re expecting 1 mob to appear but you’re in the middle of a flock of chickens.
Sadly, i quite like the random nature of what can spawn. A bit more telegraphing of what you need to do wouldnt go amiss though .g. Do I run into that swirly or avoid it?
While I personally disagree, I think those random requirements to be a nice change of pace, and as others have said often result in even greater amount of wax, I do have a tip to the floating spore blobs. It is to land and fly instead. This works in both steady and dragonflying but is obviously easier in steady flight. This cuts down the time you need to complete it.
Eh? Don’t notice a difference of them being up… using Outline enabled in settings along with Inky Black potion I can see them a mile away and never far from another.
Still see no shortage of them, especially in Isle of Dorn. They’re always near each other, especially around the central southern areas of the map [where that Ram rare is at].
In the first few weeks of release you could loot one every minute or so, without stopping, ever. You’d literally be able to see the next one while you did the current one.
