DK 80 boost mastery not working

Since the GM replying to my ticket said he couldnt do anything for me other than ‘post it on support forum’ here goes nothing:

  • Bought an 80 boost
  • Boosted a DK to 80
  • Press Death Strike
  • Mastery doesnt work (at least for blood)

When i Death strike (yes in blood presence and yes i have mastery in my spellbook) I dont get Blood shield. No absorb, nothing. It works fine on my non boosted 80 DK.

Please fix this, spending money on a boost to be stuck with a character thats simply not having all its spells is absolutely unacceptable. Especially when a GM replies ingame with yeah… idk i cant help you.

Someone on US reported the same issue: https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/cata-classic-boosted-dk-broken-mastery-and-armor-specialization-not-working/1844764 incl a small video of the problem as ‘proof’.

Can I get a response to this and an ETA on when this will be fixed?

Here is a solution ,don’t buy character boosts

Exact same problem here, Level 80 boost worgen DK. Blood Shield Mastery doesnt work or show up on Details. I too have mastery learnt and in Blood Presence

Same Problem here.
Boosted a DK and Blood Shield is not working. A soon fix would be great

I have the same problem, only on a paladin the skill does not give blocking
