DK bots in bgs

Literally 10-15% of characters queing for BGs on weekends at max level are DK bots. There’s hundreds of them in total queing on EU, complete with interrupt botting and what not.

Get your **** together and employ GMs to ban them all. It’s easily detectable by their movement and ability usage. I wonder how far botters gonna go so long as blizz doesn’t give a damn about them

Not just max level.

Youtube recommended me a clip of a lvl69 prot warrior playing a game of AV, he basically had 3 DK bots hitting him for the full duration of the clip. The botting situation on Classic has been insane since day 1.

For sure, it’s probably much worse on the 59/69/79 bracket. Imo having them ruin the economy by farming materials/raw gold 24/7 is one thing. Being forced to play with them in pvp is unacceptable when we pay a monthly sub

I was close to come for post the same.

What the f*** is going on with bgs and all of these bots jumping around? Pretty sad.

The removal of the level requirement for DK has allowed for there to be this many bots. This was an undersight on blizzards part and they don’t understand how letting just any new account create a fresh 55 (best class for gathering btw) out of the blue will allow bots to have free reign. They sacrificed player value with ease of access just because some whiny players with 1 hour a week to play games didn’t want to have to level to 55 just to play a DK.

They need to bring the level requirement back or I might just stop playing soon because its impossible to carry on playing without being able to farm gold while some kid with 10 accounts has bots farming useful mats, selling them online to people who want to shortcut their gameplay.

Its in moments like these im glad i dont need the honor. But man was it painful when i did.

I mean, at this point its a spit in the face to the non-botters.
You can spot countless bots on popular farming spots, being there for days.

Nothing compared to the old blizzard. They have literally destroyed leveling pvp on all brackets after the 55+ DKs entry point.

Private servers, with way less resources and volunteer GMs, have done a way better job at controlling bots. If you want your classic player base to go back to pservers you sure are doing a great job. When you lose your normal player base you gonna lose the bots also though.

Never again am i pre-purchasing any of their products. Shame on you considering you also had your 32nd bday a few days ago. What you once were and what you have become is just sad.

I am about to quit also subscription is cancelled and only got 10 days left of playtime.

Game Masters do have access to a “Spectator” mode.

So i wonder how many Game Masters are active in-game… Everyone would like to know. And yes, it is more or less that Blizzard is no longer involved in my opinion.

I’m experiencing the same issue when i play on Auberdine with my 65 years old friend. That’s really sad because we can have a lot of fun together, in Battlegrounds.

I’m fine with working for Blizzard just to watch over the Battlegrounds at night, for free. No jokes, i would like to volunteer.

It really wasn’t the same back in the day, but i love these classic games.

I believe they have 0 active in game GMs now. But they could always get some new employees to do that job. I would also apply for small fee maybe not like completely free

I just logged in to make the same post and imagine my surprise that the 1st post was about the same issue.

As if warsong gulch weekend wasnt engouh were every team had 3-4 bot dks minimum fighting at the edge of the map. It is still going on so hard even right now.

I joined random bg today 2 times and guess my luck , both warsong both full of bots , i get it that it was very early in the morning and i will probably get the bg where there is traffic but come on.

I spoke to some other ppl in my guild and they told me that its been going on waaaay longer than i noticed.

Blizz please step up . Seriously wtf are you guys doing and these bots are roaming free so long.

No, Blizzard prefer to lose their fans, and attract new players who will stay for a month or two.

I’m a Role-Player, so i spend my time discussing with people, and i met some players who were amazed by the Classic game at first, but once they understand that the game is a mess, and see nothing exceptional in it, they simply leave.

The money factory is running anyway, and players can not go on strike action… It would be ridiculous. Well done guys. You should add this to your ads : “It’s broken but it still works”

When will they solve the problem with these dk bots on dungeons and on bg

Blizz I guess knew exactly what they where doing, they seem to want bots who sell gold for real money. Wonder why?!

It seems that they don’t want to solve the problem with dk bots.

Bro i love ur comments really make me laugh.
You are a sunshine ray breaking trough bot infestation <3

It’s understandable that encountering a large number of bots in the game can be frustrating and detract from the overall gaming experience. As I mentioned earlier, botting is a complex issue that can be difficult to fully address. Blizzard has implemented various measures to combat botting, including detection systems and penalties for those found to be using bots. However, new bots are constantly being developed, and it can be challenging to detect them all.

It’s possible that Blizzard is aware of the issue and is actively working to address it. However, it’s important to keep in mind that banning bots is not always a straightforward process. In some cases, it can be difficult to distinguish between bots and human players, and there may be false positives or innocent players who are incorrectly flagged as bots.

If you suspect that there are bots in your game, I would recommend reporting them to Blizzard using their in-game reporting system or contacting their customer support team. They have a team of dedicated support staff who can investigate reports of botting and take appropriate action against those found to be using bots.

Ultimately, it’s up to Blizzard to decide how to address the issue of botting in their games. However, player feedback and reports can help them identify problem areas and improve their detection and prevention measures.

Only if your gm intern cant use his teleport command …

Detecting bots is not challenging, its time consuming at best. And I am still doubt after nearly 20 years of Blizzard dealing with botting in wow specifically, that there is no technical way to identify repetitive player behavior. Even if there wasnt, with only one or two employees, the bot number at hotspots (like botanica, battlegrounds) could be reduced to nothingness within a few weeks. As soon as botting becomes too risky and not worth, the overall number of bots would greatly fall off.

However, since this isnt the case, Blizzard either does not care about the problem or welcomes the additional money. In the end, as long as not more players quit, than bots join the game, Blizzard makes more money and thats what the company is about.
