Not sure if I’m doing something wrong or this ability is bugged but often when my runic power is full and I use BoS it cancels itself after 1 second.
Basically, it act’s as if my Runic Power was 0.
I’ve looked at the tooltip many times paranoid that I missed something but seems like there is no other condition that could cancel the ability other than no Runic Power.
Does anyone know what’s up with BoS?
Do you spam your keys? Because pressing it twice cancels it instantly and it has no GCD.
Consider this macro:
#showtooltip Breath of Sindragosa
/cast !Breath of Sindragosa
so it won’t cancel if you hit the button twice

I wasn’t sure if it cancels itself but it sounds like you’re accidentally canceling it one way or another. Probably as simple as just using the macro Kyrel provided.
I’ve already consider it and I do not use it twice especially since my one time use AoE abilities/buffs are on 1234 row and my spamable abilities are on QERFZXCV keys.
I actually need to make an effort to press something on 1234 row so i can’t hit it by accident.
It’s definitely not bugged, you are accidentally cancelling it somehow as Lakdro said.
Just tried it, works perfectly fine.
(Probably the first time I specced Frost in months :D)
I moved BoS to [1] key:
Training dummies: It works.
LFR Gates of Hell: 1st boss works, 2nd boss didn’t work at all 
, 3rd boss works.
I’m utterly confused why it sometimes works fine but once upon a times either gets canceled or doesn’t work at all.
I’ve not had any problems with it, I can usually make it last for quite a few seconds before I run out of RP.
you sure you’re not using something that consumes runic power by mistake, right after? Maybe frost strike? or perhaps death strike?
Can you log it to warcraftlogs and also record it? Maybe I can figure it out
Maut? Entering those pools puts silence effect on you. Maybe that is the reason?
I usually use BoS when I’m 90-100% of runic power so even if you hit RP consuming ability you won’t cancel it right away.
The funny thing is that I used BoS today on one of the bosses in Legion LFR and it didn’t even work. Ability was used and that’s it. NO BoS… nothing… lol
Nah, Harjatan. Goroth was fine and so does Mystress but for some reason on Harjatan ability didn’t work. I didn’t even see ability animation which shows even if you runic power is 0 lol
Are you using cancelaura macros? These things can screw it up.
Check your keyboard too, maybe something causes BoS key to react like it’s pressed. Or when you click the BoS button, it registers 2 clicks instantly and thus cancels BoS right after you use it. The options to control this are somewhere in BIOS usually.
For now, I have two conclusions… Either my keyboard/usb controller is screwing with me or simply some mobs use some sort of interrupt which aren’t blatantly obvious.
Atm, I prefer to focus on building myself weakaura setup for my DK rather than troubleshoot BoS. maybe tomorrow ill do logs and see what is what

I honestly don’t know because what you’re saying seems very weird to me. On my dk, I’m currently running the BOS build. And i’ve never had the issue you had. Except for when i accidentally activated it with low runic power. I’m pretty sure that if this was an in game bug, you would have seen a lot more players talking about it and complaining.
This has to be something in regards to your own system and hardware.
