i dont think we get any pvp changes at this point and yea we will be so bad in 3s frost have solid dmg but so squishy and the dmg out side of its burst is kinda bad sadly we will be the worst melee atm there is only fury warrior below us i mean unholy dk honor talent is so bad compare to frost that has heartstop and delerium not even close to that they can give us somthing like unholy aura that do oposite of heartstop which buff our party coldown recovery rate by 30% so unholy can be unique but these are just day dreaming.
please remove deathstrike nerf and buff necrotic so we can atleast be in the middle of the pack and play the game.

So you’re telling me, the class with the lowest mobility in the game, following the fantasy of the “Slow Juggernaut”, is one of the weakest in Melee where they are supposed to be quite strong?

Sorry but this is something a casual would say.
It is undeniable that DK has fundamental issues. And it is a good thing to repeatedly mention them over and over again! There is nothing wrong wanting your spec being competitive in End game content like Mythic raid or PvP.
Unholy actauly might be fine in PvE numerically but it plays like a turd. In PvP its truly horrendous though.

And pros like you would say that DK is dead, right? It is a totally different thing to give constructive feedback to specific issues than give over dramatic arguments without any actual content or knowledge of the current situation. I would suggest to go ask this about Acherus and see what is the common consensus of the situation.

I reached 2.4k in 2s as Unholy so I dare evaluating the spec myself without the “consensus” from Acherus elitists. Not to mention these guys talk about PvE 99% and like I said… numerically Unholy might be solid.
But it has serious issues in PvP environment. Too pet-centered damage, too little survivability, too much downtime.

Acherus is not only about “elitists” and there is a lot of different type of players from different backgrounds. There is also a separate section for PvP related stuff where 99% of discussions are from PvP point of view.
You are right. Not everyone there is an elitist. Honestly I only posted a few times in #Unholy-Main so far and this channel is very PvE centered.
But all of that doesn’t change the fact that Unholy is too underperforming in PvP. A single look on the ladder representation is valid evidence!

He predicts that Frost might be a little bit ahead of Unholy at start of the SL but also says that Unholy will work better during expansion because good secondary stat scaling. He loves dk too much and will always find a way to make dk work. But he is not objective and he is often biased. I remember he talked and made a few videos about how dk is extremely good (few bfa seasons), i then check the top 100 and there is 0 dks, some times 1 or 2 (only once i saw 3), most of the time in top 500 just few dks. I also personally talked to a few good dks who at the time had trouble taking 1.8./2k. Yes, in that period Flarkness was 2.7, he is awesome player BUT he had sick arena partners (like any other streamer) who can probably boost total noobs to 2.4 ez, and he will have a sick team again. Anyway, it was clear to me (as now) how bad the dk was and i wasn’t even interested in playing seriously. In fact, after the mop, i was never seriously interested in pvp. I thought after the mop i would never play wow again. I came back near the end of the wod with a new account, and now maybe for the first time after the mop i will play pvp seriously again, but certainly not as dk. Simply put, Flarkness and other streamers/youtubers are often not an objective parameter of whether a class/spec is good or bad. Asmongold has been taking gladiator titles as a fury warrior for several seasons/expansions in a row. Eventually you will see how many dks will be in the top 100-200-300.

Flarkness is very dedicaded PvP player, theorycrafter and tester. He aims to be really objective with his guides.

I hope you understand that there is a huge different between people what kind of content they are doing for the game.
Anyhow, still time to roll for a warrior (for example) if someone really think DK is dead.
Personally, if those Dk content creators did vids in the same manner Savix and his memery went in doing them, alongside drumming up commotion and light to said class we would tno be in this boat right now, i remember i watched one of savix SL Beta vids before ret got OMEGA buffed with Word of glory being insane now and their damage and burst being wicked with kinda the same mobility, i rememebr when i watched it that i could relate to my entire existance in BfA PvP and in some cases generally being a low damage one trick chill streak pony or a one trick heavy breathing farce of a knight, i could feel how he felt, and when he and the other ret palas just raised hell in how it was, all i could think of was “first time?”… but then thanks to savix memery videos and really showing how it played for so many to see (atleast that i am almost sure of)… the devs kinda woke up for 5 min and did stuff, close to Spriest improvements. and now they are insane while We as DKs got… a more pet centric UH, wich is…it can work if you really design it well but as itis now?..eehh… and Frost that got slapped HARD with a last minute nerf before prepatch that i no doubt all of you here know about, even when specs like sub rogue mm hunt, ret pala etc etc runs around freely with a mandate and immunity to nerfs.
My very long winded wordwall though is in essence: content creators can change things, if they cry/show/get people to understand how they suffer, and im both impressed and annoyed that it kinda happened…and that our own suffering with Frost BfA and more falls on deaf ears yet again after many years, but on monthof beta suffering for someone lese? oh no, time to rev up those changes!..But my usual doom and gloom aside i genuinly wonder if the DK class had a content creator capable of attracting that light and gihlighting issues we would not suffer as much.

Remove Obliterate nerfs and remove the pvp healing reduction on Death Strike.

That’s what i said. But i repeat again, i never heard him criticize bad things done for dk (just like now). At the time when there were 3 dks in the top 300 he was fascinated by how good the dk is. That tells me how objective he is. But when i see someone like you, who doesn’t even understand what people are writing here, the point of the story, i wonder why i’m writing at all.
Yeah, because he is the perfect example for the point of my story. Fury warrior in the last few expansions is by far the worst spec for pvp (meme spec), so garbage that people can’t get 1.6k, so bad that it is almost non-existent in pvp, yet 10 times in row he takes gladiator titles as a fury warr and non-pvp player. But wait, that means fury warrior is actually good for pvp? No it’s not. So how is that even possible? BECAUSE HE IS A STREAMER and the best pvp players play with him. This also applies to other streamers, so they are often not a good parameter. But i understand that there are people who can’t understand this, and i understand why, so it’s pointless to write here and i’m done writing on the dk forum.
As for me, I will always be more interested in what experienced dk pvp players write, not streamers, but regular players, who are much more objective. And fortunately for me, there are a lot of them here who fully understand the situation. I respect their opinion because they understand perfectly when something is good or bad, and of course they often talk about it. I am not interested in the stories of some streamers/youtubers for the reasons i have given above. Of course, there are exceptions like Hazzed. Very realistic and critical dk content creator. He sees problems in time and often points out possible problems as a precaution. A very realistic and objective person. When something is good he says awesome, when something is bad he then criticizes. For example, his opinion is incomparably more important to me than Flarkness’s (for the reasons already mentioned).
