DK Starting area cannot be completed. Please help!

Hi there, the DK starting area cannot be completed. The quest An End To All Things is bugged. The Dragon you are flying is killed with one ballista, and can only fire two shots before you have to recharge. Tried 40 times, and when I finally destroy a ballista the kill does not count.
