The dragon quest to kill ballistas is not doable atm please fix
Yeah I noticed lol, it’s hilariously borked.
You get to fire off about two frost bombs that do little more than tickle the meanies and soon as you land to chomp on one all of a sudden 60 million appear and one shot you.
Even grouping doesn’t work because you still take an age to kill one ballista and some Argents and after you die about 6 times you suddenly find your party broken up because they’ve all decided to do something else.

I am like a broken record at this point but do complete a bug report in game with all these issues you are finding
- Press Esc or click the ? button to open the menu.
- Click Support.
- Click Submit feedback or bug report.
- Enter the details of the bug into the Submit a bug description box, making sure to follow the guidelines outlined on the submission form.
- Click Submit.
Hope they managed to fix all these broken quests.

Blizz pretty much broke all quests that involve you to control some NPC due to awful scaling.

You can still complete it, just takes more time. The key is to re-mount everytime your dragon runs out of juice.
About time it was dumped anyway. Intro to Wrath for the class is way to long. Its nearly 15 years later with mega fast leveling.
Yea worst part is if you arent within like 40-60 yards or something even if u kill it you dont get credit. Its funny this quest is nearly always bugged or poorly scaled its been like this at least since SL whenever i level a dk occasionally its either super fast or super annoying to do.
Already done that and dont complain about posting this. No one is forcing you and its not your job you do it voluntarily
Yea same, normally i wouldnt mind if it was a random quest in w.e zone but you literaly cant progress your character at all without doing this quest its a bit annoying but they will get around to it eventually i hope
Its not, it takes 20-40 minutes depending on how the scaling affects the quest that isnt really doable rn but its not much longer than any other starting area. Though they should 100% add the option to chose between this and idk lvl 10 start in SW like allied races or something
The only 2 quest that are really bad is the one with the dragon and the one where you gotta use the quest item weapon to attack scarlet npcs to get information its kinda silly sometimes you get it first hit other times you spent 20 minutes trying to get a npc to talk xD

Honestly, that’s been broken for a long time. It isn’t the new patch doing it.
Its been broken for many years everything from 1 shotting it all to barely killing a balista with 3-4 shots but it was always completeable and right now its just on anabolics and turned into like a elden ring boss that 1 shots you while you tickle it with a feather
Send a ticket explaining you are stuck due to the quest being bugged and can’t move forward, explain exactly what is happening and that you have submitted a bug report and ask them to move your char past that quest in the chain.
When the Vol’dun start quest was bugged a few years back they were able to help players who were stuck and unable to progress past that quest.
It might take a few days to get a response though but will likely be quicker than a fix.

Who knows im sure they are doing what they can to get through all the bugs atm
Same with Azsuna Legion assault tower quests, you can keep firing at it infinitely it won’t ever break down. Their scaling algorithm is actual trash.
Are you aware that they probably do that right? You dont have to spam this each time a bug gets posted on the forum.

I just think its weird to complain about posting it, post if it if you want but like why are you complaining xD
I honestly only posted it here to spread more awareness of a bug that blocks your character from the rest of the game and lowkey in hope to see if someone had figured out a way to get around it

Exactly and this is what i am trying to do aswell so bugs dont go unnoticed, unfixed. Im not planning on leveling another DK but i reported this bug! Let them know and make them fix all bugs.
Many do not. Hence I always remind people, because it is better to remind than it not to get reported at all.
There is nothing wrong with highlighting issues on the forums but it’s important that people also are aware of how and where to actually report bugs.
It is human nature to think oh someone else will do that. Classic example was with DBM where some timers were completely out. No one actually reported the issue to the addon writer and it had been wrong for months. He was astounded that no one had taken the time to report the problem. This is true of anything.
Only the other day I had to explain how to do a bug report for the EU. They didn’t know we do them in game or how to access them.
Just because you know what to do, doesn’t mean others do.
No one is complaining about it being posted, unless I missed it.
It’s always very reassuring when having issues, that you aren’t the only one. It’s actually the worst thing if you are the only person having an issue because it’s far less likely to be something they can fix.
Seen several poor DKs in newcomer chat stuck on this very quest.
Saying “i feel like a broken record at this point” is complaining and just an unnecessary thing to add.
I dont have problem with you posting how to report a bug thats obiviously fine and better than no one mentioning it at all.
