Hellou. I’ve installed DBM thorugh twitch and it doesnt work even though its turned on in addons screen. It says dependencies missing : StatusBarTimers and DefaultSkin. What do I do? Thank you!
Thing is with DBM its so huge now that it has like 19 different bits that need downloading separate ,so you might need to search for them
Generally, all dependencies should be pulled through .pkgmeta automatically there’s no need to download anything more as long as you download the main/correct package, alternatively, it might be a bug and there are indeed missing dependencies that they forgot to include or even remove from the code.
It looks like the dependencies (https://github.com/DeadlyBossMods/DeadlyBossMods
) exist in the main package and are included with .pkgmeta so I’m not sure why the the OP is having an issue.
Well there you go learn something new everyday .
OP I just installed it and it seems like everything is included and works fine so you might want to try and remove DBM completely and install it again.
p.s. If DBM doesn’t work for you for whatever reason you can also try BigWigs Bossmods and optionally download LittleWigs for dungeons.
Sure, I’ll try it out and report how it went. Thank you for replies guys!
You’re welcome.
So. I downloaded it from link that you posted, I extracted it and put it in maps in this order WoW-retail-interface-addons. But the game doesn’t register it for some reason, there’s no DBM in Addons window. Am I doing something wrong?
My guess is that you extracted it directly to the AddOns
folder and it looks something like this:
-
<WoW Installation Folder>/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/<Some Redundant Folder>/DBM-Azeroth-BfA
-
<WoW Installation Folder>/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/<Some Redundant Folder>/DBM-Brawlers
-
<WoW Installation Folder>/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/<Some Redundant Folder>/DBM-Core
…
Whereas it needs to be something like this:
-
<WoW Installation Folder>/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/DBM-Azeroth-BfA
-
<WoW Installation Folder>/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/DBM-Brawlers
-
<WoW Installation Folder>/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/DBM-Core
…
So all the folders under <Some Redundant Folder>
needs to be copied directly to the AddOns
folder and the <Some Redundant Folder>
needs to be removed, that said I still think that doing that through the Twitch App should work, I hope it’s clear.
p.s. This should be probably be moved to the interface forum.
You were right, I just copied whole folder there. I’m gonna do it the right way now, thank you!
