Do achievements apply to boosted characters for unlocking Allied races?

Hi , I wanted to unlock Void elves for alliance.

The achievement ‘You’re now prepared’ was completed by my warrior(former Alliance , now Horde) back in 2017 . I have that achievement completed on my account .

My question is , if i use the boost on my mage or any character, will i be able to start the questline for unlocking Void elves on my account using that boosted character on alliance, considering i already have that achievement unlocked on my account.

Please help so i dont want to waste my boost. TIA.

Hey Khooni,

Good news, that is indeed possible. I myself did this back in Legion for the Highmountain and Nightborne (back when they even had rep-requirements, which were also considered “account wide” for the purpose of unlocking, so pretty handy).

The most recent info about this I could find was this wowhead article, which hasn’t been updated in a while, but reflects the rep requirement changes that came with SL, so I’m like 99% sure this is still the case.

These achievement can be completed on the opposite faction as well (like completing them on an Alliance character for the Horde allied races), but you will need to have a level 50 of the corresponding faction to complete the questline to unlock them.

Hope this helps!
