Do blizzard hate mail users?

Hey.

So i just took a look at the venthyr armor sets for my shaman, then took a look at the armor set for the other armor types, and imo the mail armor looks by far worse than the other 3, and i dono why they hate mail so much :smiley:

I think all the plat armor for every covenant look amazing tho, So maby they hate plate just alittle bit less

Honestly, leather got the worst in this expansion.

Last good leather pieces we got were from Legion.

Iā€™m waiting for the leather kyrian set coming in 9.1 cause thatā€™s the first kind of skimpy armor we got in 2 expansions.

plate and cloth, as per usual, look the best, yes. but tbh i absolutely love the venthyr mail set. the mail sets from the other covenants arent bad either. at least not as bad as leather.

They should have dropped the transmog restrictions for different armor weights.

Blizzard themselves hardly adheres to them when making NPCs both unique models and not, such as Anduin the ā€œpriestā€ in full Plate, Khadgar the mage with mail shoulders and multiple leather pieces, Garrosh the warrior with only leather pants.

Not to mention that you canā€™t tell what armor weight a robe actually belongs to.

Necrolord mail armor actually looks pretty decent. Also if they actually make the legendary set as the next raid tier armor then mail wearers are also going to have a really cool set.

The torg mail set looks amazing to be fair, loving the shoulders. All the cov mail sets do look abit lame though yeah.

I think that the mail sets in this expansion is a big improvement. Especially for hunter but thats just my opinion.

I think the Mail sets for the Covenants have all been great. BFA mail sets were garbage (except Warfront heroic sets) but seriously? You actually like those dumb bat wings for cloth? and the skewed ugly leather shoulders?

IMO leather has it worst in every Covenant by a large margin. The raid and Legendary sets too.

ye Nathria set looks okay. If only it was possible to actually collect it. Drop rate sucks so hard in this expansion. They buffed it 2 weeks ago at least and hopefully will never nerf again.

Nyalotha mail set was XD though. I think this has to be one of the worst sets ever made for mail. Comparable with T9 (TOC) and those copy-pasted WOTLK gladiator sets.

Necrolord mail looks super dope, though. I like the Venthyr variant as well.

The mail set you linked actually looks the best of the bunch, itā€™s the darkest one so itā€™s the coolest one!

Would have been cooler tbh if instead of those feathers or whatever it is, it was actually chain-mail.

So far in Shadowlands leather users have got the short end of the stick imo.

Castle Nathria leather set looks like a offbrand halloween costume, meanwhile the mail set is wicked.

Different Opinions are a thing i guess.

I just donā€™t like it that much and think the other 3 on the picture looks a lot better.
