I got it through purchasing BFA, and after seeing/trying several classes I’m kinda hooked with Blood DK and its kinda a waste to use the boost on a character already at this level.
So I thought to myself I’ll just save the character boost and use it once I’ve reached max level with my DK.
They shouldn’t but nothing is certain with the next expansion level squish (we know nothing about it beside the fact that they planned to do one two months ago)
You can safely keep in until 8.3(should be released in 3 to 5 months), but try to pay attention to the upcoming changes of 9.0 just in case
It would be interesting if they did it and long term beneficial probably. With each expansion making a new character becomes more tedious. They would also no longer have to deal with things questions like why did you stop making new talents available after lvl 100. I personally wouldn’t be adverse to a good time saving change like this.
I had the Warlords boost for over 3 years at least, I quit after the presale for WoD came out (I bought it thinking i’d play) and didn’t come back until after Antorus was released in Legion and it was still there.
If there really is a level squish coming with the next expansion then I would imagine the boost will alter to the relevant level, only Blizzard can actually answer that though.
Nah, I still have my Legion 100 boost. For a few minutes I had that, plus the 110 BfA boost
…thinking about it, this character has only had 20 levels added manually. First I used the 90 boost from WoD, then I skipped Legion, then I used the 110 boost from BfA I will never get heritage armour
