do i have to manually import talent tree loadout each time i ding and level up my player ? i thought after importing it once it would update itself but doesnot seem to be the case so how are you guys coping with it ?
are you guys just assigning points in tree yourself instead of importing ? i have a pvp talent tree and a pve one but sometimes they seem to somehow overlap .any viable suggestions will be appreciated . maybe an addon or anything
Just click stuff you like in the tree. Worry about ‘being optimal’ when you’re max level.
I store the build I am going to use in the notes addon. Then copy paste into the talent tree import system. This leaves you with a ton of half builds to delete as you level up, which is pretty inane and tedious.
When you are gaining a level a dungeon, no one wants to wait for you to work through the talent tree for 5 minutes after each dungeon ends.
There’s a save option isn’t there?
Is it too hard to click on a talent as you level…?
Importing a template is just that… there’s no priority setup to it for it to choose which talent to go for next as you level.
Maybe there’s an addon for that? Can’t imagine anyone bothering though…
If you import a build, then yes, you need to keep doing it at every new level. It doesn’t work the same way as creating a starter build does.
I’d only worry about importing builds once you’re at max level, until then, it really doesn’t matter.
It will only save to the level you are at.
From my own experience I’d recommend not using builds but simply making your own during leveling. That way you engage with the talents more, and experiment to see what you like. At max level you’ll have a more natural understanding what can be useful under what circumstances. Depending on class and spec a bit, the talents can be quite flexible, which is easy to miss when you go with the more rigid meta builds
Yeah, how preposterous. Clicking your own talents? Pff. Peasants.
Yeah it’s annoying, I just keep reimporting whatever build I want.
During leveling I would either select your own talents or just use the Starter Talents.
At max level you can then import the min-max Talent build from your source of choice.
There is no need to be min-maxing to that degree while leveling and if you took a few seconds to pick a Talent while leveling you might understand the talent tree better.
Google Wow leveling priest guide and then go to talents.
Save them to your browser (add bookmark) for easy access so you can enter the talents on the site with one click, then after leveling for a bit just put out a few talent points.
I might be a bit of a hassle in the beginning but you’ll get used to it and then it’s as simple as a few clicks.
As someone with terrible Altaholism, till you pause, click the notification off. Once you pause, quickly skim and pick out all your handy CC, CD Reduction, flat DR and Damage talents.
You’ll have time once the leveling is over to import your min max from somewhere while you refresh your action bars, get that initial feel for your rotation at the target dummy etc.
EDIT:- Especially with the current event when levels are quick and fast
Thx .i will try to do that .
I have also wodered about that, why cant i just plan it all out while i have time to do so and just save my choices before the talents come available.
