so i just started playing world of warcraft for first time 2 weeks ago .
i love the transmogs in world of warcraft .so lets suppose if i am doing doing mythic on 0 .can i get transmog sets completed or will i have to do mythic at certain level like 15 or 20 to get these transmog sets ? or people do these higher keys to get better ilvl gear and nothing else ?
i do know that there is a ksm mount for people who get good score in mythic plus .is that the only thing ?

So different armor pieces come from different dungeons, the majority of transmog (as long as it’s not DF armor) is from older dungeons, so doing m+ will not give you all transmog so you need to go and do the content that rewarded it whenever it came out.
And dungeons also have different levels(there as exceptions) of difficulty, each rewarding their own color variant of armor weapons etc.
Yes exactly, for m+ rating and better gear is the main reason for doing it, if you’re interested in transmog m+ is not recommended, as the gear that drops is few and far between, you’re better off doing the old version of it instead.
The current m+ dungeon pool will only grant you the armor of those specific dungeons, so if you want others you need to go find them in the world and complete them, I recommend with a friend to entertain yourselff with.
Yeah there is a mount at 2k rating, and at 2.5k you get the transmog for the current tier with the effects of mythic level, so if theres more fire on mythic, then you get the more fire on all the color types.
You need to do m+ keys from +17 onwards if you want to get the mythic set appearances for this tier. If you don’t want to raid, you’ll also want to do lower keys to get the LFR and Normal appearances (or get lucky and obtain the items you need from Superbloom).
There is 6 upgrade tracks for loot in this season:
Explorer - as far as i know, you can’t use this one in revival catalyst, so you won’t be able to get any of class appearance from it
Adventurer - same as above
Veteran - this one can give you LFR and Normal appearance
Champion - this one can give you Normal and Heroic appearance
Hero - this one can give you Heroic and Mythic appearance
Myth - this one can give you only Mythic appearance
I’d say you should focus only on 2 of these - veteran and hero.
Veteran item with item level 441-450 will give you LFR appearance if you use revival catalyst, than you can upgrade it with flightstones to 454 ilvl - this will give you Normal appearance
Hero item with ilvl 467-476 will give you Heroic appearance, and if you upgrade it to 480 you will get Mythic appearance.
So i’d recomend you to focus on getting full set of Veteran and Hero items. For veteran items you will have to go in LFR and spam keys from +2 to +8. And for hero items you will have to go in Heroic raid and spam +17 keys (which is a sweet spot, because it gives you Hero item at the end of dungeon and in your weekly vault)
And be careful when you use creation catalyst, because you get only 1 charge per week.
For reaching a rating of 2500 (this is around +17-18 in all dungeons), you also get a visual effect for the mythic/elite set. For reaching a rating of 2000, you get a mount.
