Do I still get the heritage armor quest if I race change?

Hey!

My question is the one in the title.

For example, I am still level 110 in this character. If I race change to, let’s say, a blood elf do I still get the blood elf’s heritage armor quest at level 120? Or I can’t race change at all to get the heritage armor quest?

Thanks in advance!
Cheers!

Edit: Corrected by Grelier below. Added Core Heritage Armor article in.

Saneko’s link applies only to ALLIED races. The old races with heritage armors should get it at 120 once they have Exalted reputation with their own faction (Ironforge, Silvermoon etc). In case of Blood Elfs you need to get Exalted with Silvermoon City.

Yeah, my idea was, maybe, changing my tauren to a blood elf. At the moment I actually don’t even have any of the allied races unlocked, ahah.

So, since the link only talks about allied races, the “classic” ones should be okay, right? I have exalted with 5 out of 7 horde classic reputations. Silvermoon and Thunderbluff included.

Hey Quothnor!

For the non-allied races you can indeed faction change, race change, be boosted or have recruit a friend levels granted - you will still be eligible to get the armor once you have the rest of the criteria completed
