This is the same people that ruined the retail version in the first place!
I don’t have time, I don’t get invited, I have to run to places, I have to talk to people, this is different from single player games…
I am a casual player having lots of fun without RDF and played original wotlk as well.
People did the same thing back then and yet wotlk is remembered as the goat.
They will first cry about not being able to join dungeons in order to get RDF and later spam the forums for LFR because puggers not inviting them to join raids…
They will get tired of dungeons after spamming them for 2 weeks and will quickly find out that the same problem exists for larger contents as well.
GO BACK TO RETAIL!

Don’t come here and say it ain’t true! If you can’t manage to get 5 people together from your guild for a dungeon, you will not find 10-25 people for a raid either!
How is current dungeon finder more social than RDF? People just click accept/decline without any social interactions, communication is limited to “yo / 123 / share quests / pull more idiot”
Tell me how the communication gets worse with RDF?
Didnt you think about the fact that MAYBE social interactions are about the players, not about the tool for forming groups?
How about we have RDF to make our lives easier.
Nobody will force you to use it.
You can still play your super quality social game by maybe placing campfire in front of AH and hiring people for your dungeon who come and sit there with you, idk, totally up to you.
Yes, that can be a problem, if you try to do plenty of dungeons (e.g. being a healer, tank, trying to weave in some quests, obviously much lower level ones in far zones).
There is this other game, Guild Wars 2, where you can instantly teleport to any waypoint that you discovered, there are 10-20 per zone, for a moderate fee. Effectively the taxi system, except there are no ships, and it doesn’t take 20 minutes. (Class buffs really expose the time it takes.)
I get it… world pvp needs traveling time cost, so that people can’t randomly show up at places to gank. Although an AV queue is probably more efficient anyway.
If you played the original wotlk then you should remember that rdf was introduced in wrath. Also ppl that spent more time on wotlk (pservers) than you ever will, the most dedicated players, had no problems with rdf, and it was on e v e r y pserver, every. And as far as i remember, the prime time for WoW was around ICC, right when rdf was introduced.
You know why there are rdf but no lfr? Because dungeons, whether normal or heroic, are 0 challenge, you can run them naked and you wont have any problems. Raids is another story, maybe theyre not hard but still require some proper composition. And as og player you should know that.
Go back to classic SoM, how can one call classic and og wotlk if you start cutting content that was originally introduced in it lol. Maybe lets also not que PvP from any place but walk to npc so world doesnt feel so empty, clearly not QoL update
I found a group for Nexus the other day using the group finder. It only took a few minutes. But - what is relevant to this thread is - nobody said a word! !!! No interaction whatsoever. How is that more social than RDF?

This is how wow started turning into shet back then. It was the first and most important step to waste everything. You don’t have your life too difficult anyway.
in what way does RDF prevent syou form inviting YOUR freinds and YOUR guildies for YOUR RUNS?!

RDF is NOT diferent then the LFG addon 90% of the population used through all tbc, RDF jsut saves a few extra mins, but the principle is the same, you apply to a random group of people you dont know, get invited, run the dungeon and leave…its LITERALLY the same thing as RDF and EVERYONE was using it(and everyone is still using it TODAY in wotlk…)
Spaming trade chat DOES NOT make the game more “social”… theres simply alot more people, alot less time,alot more information so you wont EVER have the same experience you had back in the day…its nto ebcause RDF is there or not…EVEN without RDF people will run dungeons EXACTLY liek if they had RDF

Adding rdf was one of the huge mistakes that ruined the game and retail wow is prove for that.
Actually that shouldn’t be a problem with lack of RDF - I play 2 healers & 1 tank and it’s pretty slow (average level is 70.9 atm, 10x UK just to achieve 71), but it takes no time to find a group, so if I want at all, I am there. I’m sure most other healers are like that. Possibly heavy burnout right now. Or there isn’t enough incentive. Maybe they also started questing, dual spec or other chars.
