i used to mainly play pvp in wow from vanilla until wotlk
one day just after Wotlk launch i was walking along minding my own business.,.
when a Ret paladin jumped out of no where and literally killed my character in one hitā¦
since then i never played wow pvp ever again.
EDIT: to me it was a sign that PVP was getting out of handā¦ and the numbers and balance would never be the sameā¦ i donāt think i was wrongā¦

Vanilla rets were pretty chill to deal with.
It was the Frost mages, locks, ferals, subs and other freakzoids that just played their class and spec on a rank 16 level. (Rank 14 was max.)
I like PVP, but I will never again level on a PVP server

I did get to rank 7 or 8 as sub I think. Pretty fun with all the Cds
But I always felt like rogues were made for world pvp and not random bgs.
Then came Arena battles ofc. Not for me

Yeah, weāre the same age and we were both born and raised in pretty privileged countries (Swe/UK) so Im guessing we have similar or at least comparable experiences
