retail was good once upon a time… but not for a good 6+ years now maybe even 8 - 10 years… depending…
people said DF will change that, that is why im still here…

i love a good indie game… cause the developers actually have passion when they make them there is a lot of details in modern indie games which often get overlooked in AAA titles which just aim for player numbers and money…

I raided a little on my other account up until lvl 80, maybe 90 actually. Went over to 100% pvp action.
Tried some world pvp server ganking/clowning… Gave up.
Retail. I level too fast. My issues require a slower pace.
I think DF will be a little better than SL.
I will buy it in 2 years when it goes for 15€ online
For now, clown will spread his love in Wotlk, like nutella on toast

i played gw2 with friends… i did all the content unlocked all the mounts… 5 man’d the raid even…
i havent played the newest expansion as i no longer have those friends and i cant be bothered to go at it solo.
same with ff14 didnt play the expansion… used to play it with the same friend group… cant be bothered to play it solo…
and i was once very highly ranked on that game.

but u get to a certain point where u can just buy gems with gold… cause u know farm routes to make gold easy.

had help from my friends though they were another level… they show’d me the routes… and since then i made so much gold on gw2… i never had to even consider buying anything with real money.
they also had crazy amounts of gil in ff14… 3 of them had the biggest mansions to themselves… i didnt even have a small house to my name…

once upon a time i had many irl friends… i lost contact with them all… and sooner or later they stopped trying to find me…
i had many online friends over the years… most of them we just stop playign cause they go off to do real life stuff instead… which happens with time…
you get to a certain age when u ask yourself am i gaming too much ?
that was never a problem for me personally i love gaming…
so we went our different ways…
my last group of friends there was 15 of them in a tight group … all known irl … i was the only one which was known ONLY online…
a lot of them had problems with me being around cause i was very close to the alpha daddy in friendship…
i was eventually thrown out of the group though after about 10 years of gaming with them.

i am neither alpha or beta… i am a lone wolf mate…
yea he was the leader of the pack basically… we spent a lot of time just gaming me and him together… he introduced me to that irl circle… they were jealous of me because i had his attention.
there is a few real life friends i miss a lot…
but depression mainly was the cause i locked myself out from them and didnt answer the door when they came over worried about me…
its the reason i started playing mmorpgs as well…
i just wanted to lock myself away until i eventually rotted away…
fun times…
EDIT: real truth i have been alone for the better part of 15 years now… really irl

I created, not by choice, alter egos/personalities. And, I gained friends. In a way
I can have so much fun with myself just chatting between us back and fourth. But sometimes I lose control and the next day I dont remember some things.
Like when I go loco mode here. Next day, I ask myself, did my account get hacked yesterday?
Anyway. Solo Wolf. Still much fun to be had
