I think if these forums are negatively affecting your mental health and making you depressed or just unhappy, it is definitely a good idea to try doing something different. If something doesn’t bring you joy, there is no reason to willingly spend your free time with it.
Also, if you are/did consider harming yourself, it might be worth considering to see a therapist to avoid you pursuing that course of action any further.

As a kid I was obsessed with flags! Who doesn’t love flags?
You don’t have to solo it you know 
Others are crown- and mog hunters too, just make a team for it! Not to mention, more people means more chance for them to drop and they maybe could be convinced to trade
