DO NOT prune abilities, WOW is fun because of its complexity, keep it complex

Well, if you want to argue that your hands magically transform into a different shape and gain muscles when you play StarCraft 2 because it’s another sort of game, I guess that’s fine.

I am not capable of coming up with any convincing arguments against such a position. :stuck_out_tongue:

Im playing a lot of starcraft now while I wait for S4. And god bless that there are other modes other than 1v1.

Cause I always get destroyed if I play there. Im just too old for that stuff…

Me too. Used to play in high diamond low master’s and my APM was ~180-200 in that game, and WoW definitely feels… similar. Slightly slower, but similar.

But no, WoW can’t even remotely compare to the stuff the pros pull off.

I don’t think the two games are comparable. That is what I said.

No twisting thank you.

And I never said they were. I said the hand movements are. But yea cba carrying this one on any further either. We’re not gonna reach a consensus

This is just casts per minute, actual spells/abilities that were used. Most people are pressing the keybind for respective abilities constantly to make them fire asap.

Though, with rogue it’s a bit overinflated because it counts combo point gains as a cast for some reason, they made up about 25% of it.

Perfect! Thank you Elahra, and thank you for demonstrating my point. :3

Nobody wants to prune anything except asmongold. Chill. His opinions do not matter.

Wow requires more visual clarity on procs (especially random procs) and tweaks for some specs to make your rotation flow feel less of a fighting against gcd.

Affliction has like 7 dots to maintain, 2 of them if expired will be big dps loss because they are ramping up through stacks, add to it hardcasted spell and you are in for a wild ride of “I need to cast malefic rapture but my agony dot is almost expired while I was setting up all other 6 dots”.

Seems like you have a touch of streamer anger. I like how the first part of the quote is like you’re speaking about some random whereas most people will know who said that.

But you may like the complexity but maybe the millions of players who left WoW didn’t feel the same way. Do we keep you happy or try attracting millions of people back? I don’t know, that’s a tough choice.

I think two full action bar rows of spells and abilities is ample and I hope Blizzard trims the fat.

Well right back at you. You’ll probably be gone in a month when you see a shiny piece of tinsel to chase. “Gaem haz too little buttonz” certainly is a niche take.

I didn’t make fun of your post length, just its content.

Again, you’re entitled to your opinion. I’m entitled to say I think its bad.

Not remotely trying to drag this up again but it reminds me of my childhood, we had this game on my Dad’s computer called Daley Thompson’s Decathlon, where to take part in the sprint you had to smash the ever living hell out of two buttons run the fastest. So my brother would be one end of they keyboard and me the other pressing the two buttons each as fast as possible to run.

Now that was a lot of apm and we got banned from playing that race

I still don’t think that kind of thing compares to WoW though.

It’s actually a much more spread opinion among the influencers and some of the playerbase, most notibly imo is Nixxiom who suggested like 10 buttons per class, which even for me is a bit few, I’d be happy with a good 20-25 but that’s just me

Well Nixxiom can go play wrath classic as it was only expansion where he was somewhat relevant. People really need to stop taking seriously opinions of youtubers who dont even play the game for years now.
