don’t worry about it, the 1 button rotation will fix it. rewamping a class is way to difficult and would take to much time, rather then just scripting the game to play for you
Yes, agree, arms is clunky. Keeping execute stacks with random procs is bad. Not being able to move in demolish is bad. Pressing slam in any build or execute in m+ build feels bad. Pre dungeon stacking is total cringe.
But what also is annoying but not many people talk about is that abilities like cleave and demolish have weird 180 degree angie and not 360. i wonder how much dps is lost each dungeon because of not facing all mobs because of that.
Also attack range is kinda small. I remember when rogue had acrobatic strikes talent which increased attack range it could hit target with daggers from almost twice as far as warrior with 2h.
Not even talking about trash utility. Arms and warrior in general needs a rework.
Yeah, Cleave sometimes doesn’t even look like an AOE ability, it damages the center mass if you are moving while using it.
Also agree on range, we are the OG two-hand class with some of the biggest weapons in the game and a master at them, especially with Colossus now and i cant hit outside the smallest swirly…
I am fully aware what I wish for . I even got some ideas how to make the rotation of core abilities synergize with clean deterministic interactions that require precise execution.
id say Demo, once u get somewhat competent in M+ is not clunky. but it does require some work to play correctly.
Slayer in raid is another story its dumb a F. trying to juggle and praying for juggernaut stacks into execute, or u are a wet noodle dps spec. meanwhile not having insane dps even if u by the grace of GOD get lucky enough ( and play well enough) to get full stacks into execute. Now if they removed Juggernaut and just had more dmg into Execute ability, slayer would pretty much be fixxed. from a rotation POV.
Oh yeah and SLAM’s definition is as a FILLER. atm it does a decent amount of dmg. so i reckon slam is exactly where its supposed to be atm.
Demolish actually feels okay - you deal a huge amount of damage, but can easily get punished. Requires a bit of anticipation. You get rewarded for staying in combat and pulling (spending rage) consistently to get Demolish and Warbreaker to line up properly, which is ok on paper and somewhat mid in practice.
Cleave + Ravager feels good overall, Thunderclap spreading Rend is great. But this is only my M+ perspective, single target is pretty boring. Would not like to play it in raids tbh.
I don’t understand how they make us press Slam, but not Execute or Bladestorm.
It’s easy: damage cap. For PVP and PVE. You can raise in correct time, moment, a burst of damage. Making based haste warrior offers a class unable to make great damage in short term.
And why you say? Because huge strong warriors or even rightfulness paladins are contrary to woke bullc.rap: stronger than are lolrogues. Just ridiculous.
