it’s very clear with casters (clothies) and some dark magic users like DKs and DHs or good magic users like druids, monks, paladins, and shamans. weather its the light or nature or spirits, its some kind of magical powers.
Rogues are involved in some void magic if am not mistaken but are they will all speccs ?
what about hunters ? is the bond with the pet magical in nature, or just good old hunting dogs bond to his master but in a mythical advanced way?
warriors? are they involved in anything?
I mean, there’s got to be SOME sort of nature magic involved with hunters getting beasts to follow their every whims since that takes years to do IRL yet here we are doing it in 5 seconds flat.
Hunters use some arcane and nature magic, meanwhile Warrior continues to be the one and only magically impotent class in the game. It’s a miracle that they have even survived so far.
Titan blessing i would say. Avatar and stuff. But in that regard everyone walking on Azeroth or originates from Outland/Draenor has been touched by the titans one way or another. Or by the old gods like the humans, dwarfs and gnomes.
My Draenei hunter uses some Magic but not that much. Headcanon is that, for a Draenei my char isn’t that great at wielding magic but they are still capable of some magic hence why they are a Hunter and not a Mage.
I think there is difference between using magic and being magic user …
You could look at it the way that for example shamans dont use magic, we just summon totems and spirits do their stuff … basically sticking your axe into fire…
Warriors have most of their abilities just physical strength but you could consider stuff like avatar or thunder clap as warrior asking his gods/spirits/whatever to give him power, thunder clap even has lightning effect glyph.
Similar paladins/priests are just waiting for the Light instead of being light mages.
