I am new to the game. Do we need to bring in a m+ group the resurrection trinket since we do not have a resurrect or not?
Does the engineering trinket have any useful stats or is it a big drop in ilevel and stats to have one
Edit: Maybe I should first clarify that priests can resurrect (https://www.wowhead.com/spell=2006/resurrection), they just can’t do it in combat, but hopefully you knew that.
Ok, I don’t priest, but I do engineer.
First of all, it’s a tinker, not a trinket. A tinker is essentially a gem that goes in a special socket. You’ll find that socket on https://www.wowhead.com/item=198322/overengineered-sleeve-extenders (through the crafting system, an engineer can make them for you).
These can have up to ilvl 418, but they come with a single stat instead of two. This means you will get a little less stats, even if more of your favorite. All of this is no big deal unless you badly want to wear https://www.wowhead.com/item=193530/allied-wristguards-of-time-dilation in your bracer slot.
That said, I don’t know how reliable the tinker (https://www.wowhead.com/item=201409/tinker-arclight-vital-correctors) is, especially for non-engineers. On another tinker I have, according to Blizzard, maximum success chance, but that’s apparently not 100%. And the backfire effects can put you in even greater danger, so you may want to only use it if it can’t make things worse (as in, you’ll wipe without that rez anyway).
You’re not giving up much to get it, but you’re also not getting much.
