Well since it will only work for reps from The War Within onwards there is no rush.

How will warbands work with renown tracks/account-wide reps?
Currently, account-wide reps are only for War Within. Still deciding what happens for past expansion. The goal is they don’t want you to feel like you’re at a disadvantage if you don’t have alts.

So far it’s not looking like it’s going to be retroactive with older reps though. Just the new expansion.

It is going to be retroactive but slowly. Ion said they will start with Dragonflight so don’t worry about everyone getting max renown, just have the one.

Reputations and Renowns will also be account-wide. They’d like to make this retroactive to past Reps/Renowns, but that might take some time - they’ll start with Dragonflight content and work back from there.

Doesn’t really matter but you can be exalted with both Booty Bay and Bloodsails, but that’s one exception.

They can make it so you have a warband-bound reputation with both still keeping your character reputation so you are friendly by one and hated by the other, only having the benefit of your warband-bound reputation with the faction your character is friendly with.

You do have to wait as Rhykker would say everything has schedule. Even Blizzard said them selves that expansions are planed in advanced and direction can’t be changed right away. The only exceptions are fast fixes or things like Karazhan in SL season 4. It was nerfed each week.

I hope so. As for Aldor/Scryers etc. reputations, they could remove them from warbands so they remain character specific.

That one is possible, if you’re willing to grind for it. Just kill mobs that give Steamwheedle Cartel rep but don’t reduce Bloodsail rep. They can be found here and there but the most popular spot is Tanaris.
