Do you become immortal at level 60?

Don’t seem to find any information on the subject, but I would assume one death rule applies to lvl 60 as well. Has anyone tested it out yet? Or better say, any lvl 60 chars dying that you heard of? Thanks in advance.

They say out of 9 lvl 60s out there 5 allready died.

If ur character dies u can transfer it to a normal realm cant you? I remenber this being said but i didnt keep up with WoW news so dunno how offical this is.
