Do you concider 2,1 - 2.2k in 2s bad?

So if you see a person with 2.1 or 2.2k in 2s,would you concider it bad, decent ? whats the % of people being duelist ? is it hard for duelist person to improve and push 2.4 or not ? talking about Survival hunter/discip comp

depends if you’re a demon hunter or not

Me and my friend did 2.1k this season and he went crazy like its a big deal,i honestly think its meh.

If it was his first time getting duelist it’s cool, like for all of us I guess.

Be proud of your achievements, but stay humble, and skill is always relative.

2.1 is the breakpoint for max ilvl azerite / trophies from PvP though :stuck_out_tongue:

if its hard for you to achieve and its a goal, you should be very proud.

personaly for me it depends on what class/comp gets it

but i also beilive the majority of pvp players are under 2k and most players above 2.2k are almost always the same players or have a steady network to play with making it slightly “easier” than a newer player or someone that doesn’t have that kind of network.

so if you are a “casual” and get above 2.1k+ youre a good player imo

2.1k in 2v2 and 3v3 is different IMO.

You can meme your way to 2.1k with off-meta comps, but will have a harder time doing so in 3v3 unless you’re high exp already.

You can still be proud of 2.1k, not everybody can reach that far

If that was your very first one, congratulations on your 2.1k!

Other than that, the best comment/advice was probably this;

Being happy after achieving a goal should always be the reason for which to have goals in the first place, right? But don’t let anything go to your head and inflate your ego, as that will hinder you from improving further.

Its funny since elite was made 2.1, over time I’ve gone from wanting to get to 2k, to wanting to get to 2.1 but I’ve never cared for 2.2 for the achievement and I’m not sure I’m good enough to get 2.4 unless I played a lot of 2s (and definitely not good enough to try for it in 3s as assa/fire/disc).

End of season is always easier to push, my rogues are around 2.3k mmr and like 2100-2150 but I feel once I’ve met my goal I’m happy. Then there’s gear but since I always meet my goals to the end of the season, gear becomes almost pointless as a reward.

Maybe I should just play more games. Anyway what’s good is all personal. For glads anything below like 2.8 or something is probably trivial and so on.

Depends. Comp and class has been mentioned and yeah, that’s a factor. If you just need to run around for 5-10 min and survive and then win by default, then yeah, it won’t be that impressive to me.

I think it also comes down to what you compare with, if you compare with the ladder then yeah, you might be a bit above average (above mentioned players excluded) that has a basic idea of how things work but might not be able to execute things properly, timing might be a bit off and such things.
But if you compare yourself to the entire wow players base then
yeah, you will find yourself being way above average. Just enter any skirmish, random bg or wpvp and you can see for yourself how the average player in wow is.

Personally I was really happy about the 2.1 in 2’s this season. I haven’t played much 2’s overall but for once we queued up to see if we could get somewhere rating wise, did like 5-6 game where we just did really good, I was landing mc’s at the right moments and everything.
My partner got 2.1 one game before me and next game
we faced a dh/rdruid. And I was just disheartened, I was sure I would lose it there. But
somehow we just crushed them. So hitting 2.1 there this season made me really happy.

it depends on the winrate and especially the gear pve

It’s not really a thing. Elite is 2.4, Duelist is 2.1.

To give you an answer on topic
while I am not quite as high-rated as some people here, I was really proud of my first 2.1 in 2s and felt as if I had achieved something. Same went for my first 2.4.

the meaning of rating is relative to the person who earns it, I know I was super proud and happy the first time i got 2.2

that said, when I see someone with 2.1 in 3s i’d consider them an ‘okay’ player who probably has some idea of what they’re doing

2s is a bit more ehh, 2s rating is super easy just by playing the right comps and as a whole I value 2s rating a lot less meaningful than 3s

be happy with what you’ve achieved tho, there’s a lot of players who dream of getting 2.1

Depends on the comp and the win to losses/number of games required to push + your Exp tbh

If it’s your first time reaching it then gz if you played fotm
just dont go around bragging about it n telling lower rated players they’re bad etc etc

your achievements are your own and the meaning behind them are subjective. of course anybody who is higher rated won’t think of it as a big deal.

The last of the Elite gear set is 2.1, he probably meant that.

I did mean this yes. I just wish there were more rewards and they were slightly less spread out. Its basically get 1800 for most of the set; get 2100 for cloak (lol) and good azerite. Then go for 2400.

THe game is so old now, I wish they’d just bring back some older sets/rewards with a slightly different name or something so you knew they were older. Or even just gave us residuum or something.

Highly depends on the class/comp. If you got it as an Affli that’s deffo very decent; if you got it as Rdruid+DH instead, it’s just average at best.

Outside of those extremes, it’s nothing big, but it can be a milestone for the personal development; and as team
Just one big step. Getting a specific title the first time is usually always the hardest - if you really worked for it and not just got it due to comp(dh+x)/boosting/wintrading etc.

  1. This

Secound, bruh my highest score total is 1796 and i dominate most people in 1v1 wpvp

anything above me is high
