Do you continue questing after hitting the level cap for the expansion?

Curiosity: do you continue questing after hitting the level cap for that specific expansion? Or you move to the next zone?

In theory there is no advantage continue questing in the past expansion’s zones, which leads to a player only experiencing the story in full in the latest expansion.

Thank you for your answers

Depends. Most of the time I just move on to the next expansion, but I have one character that I want to do all the quests in every zone with. She’s level 111 now and still hasn’t finished Draenor … despite negligible xp you get per quest.

But generally I agree, unless you’re into lore or, to a degree, reputation farming (or just simply like one particular expansion a lot) there’s little point in doing all the quests.

Only if it’s a zone I haven’t leveled through before.

Originally most of my alts leveled through the same path of zones because it was faster, since I new where everything was. But now I want to see the lore of all these zones I skipped out, so I’ll finish the one I’m on even if I’m level capped.

When I reach those levels I’ll provably still clear out all quests before moving on. Makes sense to me.

Well no, you have 0 reasons to go in older xpcs considering you can fly in wod and legion.

If you cant fly there you will need to do the questlines and get the required rep to gain access to flying. Now if you cant and dont care, thats still fine.

PS
if you decide to get legion+WoD flying it would be better for you to do it in 120 lvl. ALot fast since everything you touch dies

Personally I will jump to the next expansion when I hit the required level and enjoy the latest expansion as it should be.

Might go back and continue those storylines, but I really feel like I am missing out levelling and getting the gear I need in those new zones.
