Do you ever listen to any WoW boss battle themes?

Generally the boss battle themes seem to be non existent or really subtle, at other times people just shut off the music so they can focus on the voice coms/audio cues.

But occasionally, some raid bosses actually have some memorable music.
For me the two bosses whose final phase themes I have listened to lot are those of Deathwing and of the Jailer
There are several other raid bosses with their own battle theme but usually they are a bit too ambient like the one of the Lich King Arthas.

Does Invincible and Arthas my Son count?

I meant Battle themes specifically. So I do not think we can count Invincible and Arthas my Son. They are great and iconic though
I updated the title to be more specific.

I regularly listen to Ny’alotha at work, just before I go into the OR.

I didn’t even know wow bosses had theme music. I often listen to some of the ff14 and runescape boss music (deapite never playing them)

A few weeks back or so I started remembering that DS music and had another trip down memory lane to listen to that, especially the part that people mentioned was from Ultraxion.

Aside from what I’m also about to list, the other music just doesn’t catch my attention as much as these ones did: The fast-paced music for Yalnu in Everbloom, Teron’gor and Skulloc’s music that is also featured in A Siege of Worlds, Bronjahm and the music that plays once you defeat Mueh’zala.
Also not sure if it counts because I believe it leads up to them, but that music before Paragons of the Klaxxi is great too!

I always play with the sound on the first time I do content, but on repeated plays WoW’s sound is off. But to your question; I can’t recall any such themes. Guess I’m focused on other stuff during those fights.

Oh yeah, I forgot that one. It might be the most unique battle theme along with the one of the 3 vikings in Uldaman

Only in FFXIV.

i play without sound atm. but dbm and other addons produce important sound anyway. and i often hear youtube in background to learn something.

problem is that most sounds and voices are terrible right now. i loved 1st city for undead. and sound in first area was epic.

AND! i hate this stupid drake sound spam in town. wtf is this??? this is extremely annoying!
maybe somebody already made addon to remove this retarded drake sounds in background.

How could have i forgot this masterpiece, thanks.

I like them a lot in vault. I generally set the music on unless I just want to relax with something else.

I like music in this expansion. Especially during encounters.

Always have sounds on for the first run, later runs depend on how I feel about it at the moment, or I really really loved the music, which is rare in raids/dungeons as they’re mostly background/zone music rather than actual proper themes and I can’t say I care about hearing them mid-fight. There are awesome exceptions of course!
I know my friend really loved Painsmith. I also remember Anduin and Raszageth being awesome. (Raszageth-related music reminds me of Sephiroth’s theme specifically a little and made me like it more)
