Here is a little lesson in alchemy
when adding water to a base you don’t get more of it, sure the volume of the liquid will increase, but water does something called dilution, which means the base will lose its potency and eventually be little more than regular water.
The wonderful thing about this analogy is that it works both ways.
We see this in other MMOs, since most of them lack dedicated rp servers, players with this hobby gather on one server and with varying success normalize it to rp in the open.
One can even apply the topic to a different set of players:

Of course you can still PvP on the server, I mean it is a dedicated PvP server, you can always find some shmuck in the open world and gank them, but when your victim is not interested in fighting back and instead chose to log out, or take the res sickness, what challenge and fun do you have left?
In short.
No you don’t have to RP
there isn’t a admin watching over you, forcing you to rp.
But this is an rp server, which is a server offically endursed, run, and maintained by Blizzard, whats more it is by and large the LAST rp server with any meaningful population of players still dedicated to RP.
Because all the other servers have become diluted.
Well, we’ll have to change that then.

Good point actually, maybe rp realms are too welcoming to OOCers, something we could actively change maybe.

Yea man the ppl that farm all the boe’s the rp’ers arent farming arent helping at all or doing all the proffesion work so u can spent hours rping while we make the stuff u need for legendary’s etc

Vital to the realm for sure if u wanna deny it then u do u and then have fun trying to find someone thats willing to farm hours of some boe to get 200g for it or things for legendary’s etc etc

Yea sure buddy i forgot all the rp’ers are sitting and farming tmog boe’s for hours so they can sell it for 200g cuz it needs to be affordable to rp’ers and ooc’ers just ruin the tmog market (even though its cheaper than most other realms)
