Recently rerolled to ele in pvp, BGs are extremely enjoyable, insane burst damage and feels good to play! would recommend.
Would recommend if you enjoy active 2 button rotations. Other than that it’s super strong in PvP.
Not doing any PvE content, so I can’t comment on that.
yeah go ele broken AF you can kill people from 100 to 0 in seconds and tank more damage than a prot not to mention a million ways to stun and slow
Not really good in pve, but fun in pvp.
In PvE there are better options, there is nothing ele can bring that others can’t. Plus in m+ no one will invite elementals, you need to have your own friends group (why invite elemental, when there is DH/BM/aug?). In raid you will be one of these hipsters, who just plays worst spec in game, but still get invited to farm runs.
As others mentioned - in pvp you can clap 100-0 people very quickly, and it feels good.
Ele ST isn’t so bad currently in pve we are not the best but we are not the worst just current AoE for ELE in m+ is lacking - if its a big pull id get out dps by a 456 hunter without 4set doing 700-800k dps on aoe and im an ele shaman at 482 and because of the target capped to 6 flame shocks and EQ is just completely useless unless you get a proc of ascendance at the start of the fight paired with storm keeper and +1 additional cast to chain lightning you then can pop off and do 600k dps but still this is half the aoe dps most other class’s are capable of doing

Is like ,i put my totels good,i get a proc i pair it stormkeeper,ascendance lava beams like a God, everything is on fire and the earth is shaking like hell
And then you check the dmg meter 300k whilst a 30ilvl lower bm has 700k

i just don’t blizzard really cares about balancing ele’s in tune with other class’s its frustrating to see a class can outpump you with 30ilvl less though its kinda sad how blizzard lets this stay the way it is

Depends on the kind of playstyles you like.
I absolutely despise the current set bonur for pve so I rerolled to a different class.
Really hope the S3 set won’t be the one for S4 or I’m going to stay on my twink

Sorry, but I do not understand the question. Are you asking for permission to play elemental?
Try it, see how it goes? Maybe you make it work better than most.
