Shattrath city was supposed to be a raid but they never made it.
Point of Remix is going back to collect whatever from then, done by a handful of people to oversee it… it is NOT for new content.
yes but it would not hurt to make shattrath a raid. they could call it Wod: Remaster
“Not hurt”
This thing called resources.
Remix is a side project a few people creates… a full raid takes an entire department months to develop. Why would Blizz waste their time doing that for a past expansion event?
Because content.
And then there’s reality.
Hmm no it won’t get any better with that and why they would start making new Raid or any possible cut content just for wod remix. Personally would not believe that they would start doing that for wod classic eather If there ever going to be one. I would rather bet for legion classic than any wod version
you think they will skip Wod classic all together?
Yes. I think it going to be legion classic next but even then there would be wod atleast somehow. But this just what i think that comes next in classic after mop
It would hurt. A LOT.
Dumping resources into a side-project is a mistake. If they are going to make a new raid for Remix, then make it for Retail where it’s supposed to be.
(Are you a Blizzard employee market testing?)
It could be interesting if it would also be added to the modern (and possibly classic) game in a way.
I can imagine the scenario that people can enjoy this mini addition as the last tier of WoD Classic or so, also added as a scaling place to retail (raids aren’t particularly engaging to solo). Side note: there must be a lot of churn, so it would only really work if people get aggressive catch up systems and LFR.
Adding it purely to Remix doesn’t make sense to me, since the mode is all about megarush.
Generally speaking, adding unfinished content even to Classic iterations to slow everything down a bit could work well. That could possibly include new zones in Classic (Hyjal) and anything else as well.
In a similar fashion I’d actually welcome newer races in classic iterations, at the very least one expansion early, so that people can actually get them ready for their proper expansions. Currently it’s the draenei-blood elf argument all over again.
Wod remix will never happen due to the very lack of content ,a few dailyes in Tannan will not bee enough, Shatrath raid this case is closed long time ago and the developer will never Remake this content even for remix.
Which they focus on for new expansion “content.”
If they were to go back and add “content” they removed for WoD, it would be a brand new expansion.
Still
Isn’t “content” a fun little buzzword.
Almost as if people understood it.
If cataclysm made it to classic then you can be sure wod and shadowlands will also make it to classic
Classic has reached a bit of an inflection point. WOD began WoW’s dark era after all. Out of the four expansions, beginning with WOD, three of them (including WOD) have been heavily criticised by the player base with the last, Shadowlands, widely recognised as the game’s nadir.
The question is, does Blizzard wish to go down this path? I genuinely don’t think they do. Rumours right now are that instead of doing WOD classic, Blizzard is instead working on Classic+ with the new game mode in China being a test bed for what is coming. I figure it will be the big announcement at Blizzcon this year given it will be too soon for much to be seen of the Last Titan.
As for Remix, I think the next one will either be a refashioned Battle for Azeroth (which has plenty of good content, though a confused story. It might be very playable without the heart of azeroth, corruptions and azerite armor)…or they’ll go back and do a bit more work for a WOTLK or TBC version of Remix (which would probably need to have some kind of mythic+ system bootstrapped to it).
But then there’s been projects like Plunderstorm and Remix itself.
They could if they wanted to.
And then afterwards they could maybe add that new raid to WoD timewalking. To keep making use of it and sort of special.
Now, do I think they’ll add that sort of content? No, I don’t.
This. Let’s leave the level/dungeon designers to retail rather than remix. I love remix as a fun, mindless, side hustle but I do not need to see new things come to life in remix.
EDIT: To add onto that, there is no value in designing a new raid when the raid will be a run through as soon as players max vers.
They use existing content with a few added cosmetics. It ain’t the same as designing an entire new raid…
No amount of raids added would make WoD good
Im just quessing like all of us and not really care classic versions im not playing those other than maybe level to max then back to play retail. They do wod classic and so on If they feel its profit to them and keep people subbed and im quite sure wod classic have plenty enough even sure many didn’t like it but there is many who liked and it was not all bad. Now afterwards when i think wod, i feel that everything went south right from launch and there was nothing that couldbt turn it after that. No need even mention flying riot or selfie camera major patch🙂
But nothing away from me If they continue classic series, more people play same game just differend version and i think If they somepoint decide call it for classics most of those players are out they not move to retail or anniversary what ever version. Sure some do but i say more just going to unsub
