If you are unaware, blizzard will be giving everyone the feldrake, a TCG, item for those who watch 4 hours of wow twitch content after Dragonflight releases. This item was worth around 4000 euros, but overnight its value on ebay has dropped to 200 euros. Now brings the question, if they were to bring back the feldrake, why wouldnt they bring back all the others, and if they do that, whats to say they won’t eventually being back old content like WOD challenge mode rewards and so on?

I would be happy cause i really like WOD weapon models especially the cloudsong polearm if they will bring it back i’m gonna enjoy it alot

Personally, it is a surprise how they haven’t yet taken advantage of TGC items to earn money until now, especially in Classic TBC and WOTLK, expansions in which those items were available so it was effectively store items. Except for a few toys on the 6-month promotion, it has been underused. I heard that they could just change it now because the contract they had with the company who make the physical cards has expired, but I don’t know if that is true.
If it isn’t earn able in-game by playing the game, then it doesn’t matter.
People can spend their money however they want. But do it because you like to look at the mount. 
If you buy a mount for $3500 simply for “prestige”, you are wasting your money. Prestige is earned in game, not by throwing money at it. 
Too bad you poured a fortune into a digital good. Maybe that will be a good life lesson.

the thing is, people are still buying mythic end boss mounts, and pvp mounts for gold. this practice of buying mounts for gold will most likely still continue as its hard for blizzard to monitor it. so does it make a difference long term? I dont think so tbh
Also let’s be honest, people that can afford to spend 3k to 10k on a mount in a videogame definitely does not give much value to such an amount of money in real life.
So they are just crying about the lost “prestige” and not about lost money. If that amount of money had any relevance, they wouldn’t have dropped it into a videogame mount.

Hopefully. TCG are old and outdated. Blizzard doesn’t even make the cards anymore. Why should they let the models just rot? Why should some random people on eBay make thousands…? Kinda makes no sense.
Give them all away as Twitch drops or Prime capsules.

Why not? I doubt it will give enough interest in the BMAH to contribute massive revenue through Tokens and so they will be rather interesting for promotions.
It’s certainly a lot more likely today than it was a week ago.

Look there are people who has rare items and then there are those who does not have em.
I understand that you want our rare items with zero effort, but you do not seem understand that once it comes so EASY to obtain that even person like YOU can get it, it is no longer an rare item.
And all you managed to do is damage the game in the end.

please explain why you’ve dropped thousands of hours to farm 22k achievement points on a video game when you could have been doing something useful then
WOD challange mod rewards and TCG stuff are not the same, or mage tower. You can still buy TCG mounts pets toys off of black market, or real life money but you can’t get the others no matter what you do. Hope blizzard keeps giving away tcg stuff, this is a good direction.

All that’s in the store should also be in-game and obtainable with grp mode or solo. Lazy ones can buy them by all means.
You will find out when you move out of your parents apartment.
I saw plenty of effort to farm gold and purchase all TCG items and mounts years back.
But you dont own a single TCG mount or anything rare, so what would you know about effort.
To parrot a recent comment of mine, the only TCG item that’s BMAH and another source is the Riding Turtle, and that was 8 years ago. Why they haven’t added more is beyond me. Doing that would get people to play the game that they so desperately want people to do, not adding mounts to the silly store every few months.
If they have special scenarios or phased stuff like the Fishing Shack for the turtle where you can try for these TCG items at a rare drop %, then they should go for it. Any of these expansion features could’ve had them if they make appropriate sense, and DF would be a good time to add the Feldrake, Mottled Drake, Dragon + Tuskarr kites, Gusting Grimoire and maybe the Sarcophagus (CoT-it’s surrounded by sand!).
