Do you think full sets count as a transmog?

Just make your char look in a way that you think is cool, and the rest is irrelevant. I personally can’t decide between being a blackrock or a warsong orc

nah, if a full set fits your character vibe then great. Sometimes its the simple looks that work best IMO.
Although I do enjoy the challenge of trying to mix and match, esp as a mail class.

This character has one of my favourites as its actually 3 sets (shoulder/belt, chest/legs, gloves/boots) from 3 different expansions but somehow it all just works!

if you think it looks cool go for it its your character to do with what you want
if you enjoy sitting down and spending hours to get that set that makes your character feel unique to you good for you, me too
if you like to use a predetermined set because you think it looks badass and matches or has a level of prestige attached too it, good for you too

if you look like the other guy then it´s not a transmog.

Real moggers are fashion kings/queens.

I care if my character looks good. I dont care if thats wearing a set, or items ive paired together myself.

My character is rocking the void elf heritage armor with only a few tweaks and additions made, and i think he looks awesome

Any armour piece that that has been modified to have its standard appearance replaced is by definition transmogrified. So if you’re wearing full tier 14 or whatever but every piece has a tier 2 appearance it doesn’t matter if someone disapproves and/or thinks it’s lazy; it’s transmogrified or in other words “a transmog”.

Personally I think full sets tend to look nice but pretty much any outfit that has a degree of effort put into it can look good. Nothing wrong with mixing.

I do like this guy. Currently wearing mixed.

Edit: Actually, I seem to be missing my dokebi hat…

Sometimes I go for full set, sometimes mixed. I don’t participate in mog competitions, so I just wear what I feel like.

Transmog is just an abbreviation of Transmogrification, which is a system. It’s a technical action of changing the appearance of a worn item from it’s default to another.

If the item is changed from its default appearance, then it’s a transmog. That’s agnostic to peoples uppity-noseisms about some imaginary evil of enjoying the amazing work of set designers :relaxed:

Ofc it is. People can act as high and mighty as they’d like but they’d still be wrong.

I don’t mind what people wear as long as it looks good. I occasionally like to play around few sets and match them, but sometimes I really like sets where I use most of the items and use some off pieces to fulfill it.

Whenever I am trying to make a transmog, I usually start with the idea and then “playing” around it. With my current set, I really wanted to hit the Wildhammer vibe and I think I did it.

But that’s me, I also love very simple transmogs, very similar to classic NPCs and I don’t mind how people working around it. If you like something, use it and just don’t bother what other people think/say.

Do full sets count as a transmog?
The simple answer is yes and no!

yes…if you have transmogged it from something else
no…if you are just wearing the actual outfit!

Complete sets usually makes a thorough solid appearance design as respectable as any custom-composed sets, so I count them as proper transmog sets.

I think doing the full set is a bit lazy because it’s often just one click. But if someone like it I’m not gonna take it away from them. People wear whatever they want.

I myself always try to compose my own outfit using some pieces of the set as a base.

I don’t care what people think
I’m happy with my stalker set, partly because it took a long time to get, so a lot of work has gone into it

For me it counts as transmog cause there’s people out there that don’t even mog they gear (I know one), though it’s better if you have a mix transmog.

I use full sets, sometimes I hard to mix sets. Shadowlands transmog are an example.

Personally, i find Full Sets rather Boring, but at the same time, trying to creat something from scratch while we have like 10 different shades of any colour can sometimes be frusttrating.

But overall, i understand why people enjoy Full Sets, since a lot of them just look Really good, like Battle of Dazar’Alor Plate and Leather Sets.

I don’t use full-sets since i prefer making myself some interesting combinations. I like making Mixed things that maybe keep the theme, but also make out something new. i have made some really good sets over the years that some of my characters still use, with only a few minor changes when maybe an item fits better.

I’m personally not fond of those that attack personally others for using full sets or sets that don’t really match the same colors. my will to make original sets comes from my RP passion i guess!

(also, when i make one that i really like, it makes me feel good :dracthyr_blob_dance_animated:)

Everything that is moged counts as transmog. However having fullset is lazy and crating set yourself is more appreciated.

Why would they not be transmog?
