Do you want your character to talk?

Well, next time I leave my house, I will give it a try xd.

Yup, I’d absolutely love it. Even through if choices and not necessarily them talking. Right now I’m a mute murderhobo that takes everything everyone tells them. Which, yes, is how wow works. I wish it wasn’t. I wish we had some agency on what to do too. Agency including: dialogue choices, choices on what to do in certain quests, etc. I’ve also been playing with an addon called immersion, enabled an option that hides the ui, as well as the addon uses the talking heads and uses them for the quest dialogue&choices. Also you can use the 1-9 numbers on your keyboard to pick choices& space to skip through dialogue, making it just so much better for quests to begin with. I wish that was a thing incorporated into the base UI honestly.

I want my character to talk but also have a choice of dialogue options now and then…

WoW has almost no opportunities to talk back to NPCs, and when we can it’s usually single option click throughs.

Bonus points if guards at various places would respond to casual emotes based on your rep with them.

It’s not just male female though. You need different vo actors for an orc and different for a goblin for example. For every single race, multiply it by two for the genres and yeah, kinda impossible.

So… like in any BioWare games?
I do love SW:ToR’s “system”
Even in “world quest” like hetoics, you can talk with options
Not really, change the outcome (some times do) but still, immersive and fun

I think very very very very rare quests actually give you choices.
Would be nice to have more

Not unless you get to choose your voice. Some of the races just sound annoying and would never get played again if they spoke!
Case in point…female gnomes sound like Minnie Mouse, I couldnt listen to that all the time!
