I’ll be the first to admit that I really preferred the Frost Mage rotation in Dragon Flight, and these changes go someway back towards that… BUT, by removing winters chill from splinterstorm you COMPLETELY REMOVED the whole point in it! NOT ONLY THAT, but you removed THE MAIN DAMAGE WINDOW, WITHOUT BUFFING THE ALTERNATIVE ROTATION.
Do not assign to malice, that which can be adequately explained by incompetence…
fully agree on this, it is truely an insult to every mage player, Even if you dislike the rotation wich you have your full right to but having literaly the same spec twice esp if you compare it to something like fdk or paladin who get quite big differences , also the fact everyone PRAISED the mage trees as the example to follow, the LEAST they can do if they are going to rework SS is have it be DIFFERENT to frost fire, perhaps going away from the glacial spike/flurry heavy spec that A decent chunk of us don’t like

I remember a week ago there was someone literally asking for this to be removed due to being an untrackable proc and causing some sort of dps loss which claim was like out of this world. Seems like blizzard is reading bad advices only.
I dont get why they want players to move to other characters in start of raid season, they had 2 months to balance it to the start. They should move the start of the new season to october , apparently they are not ready, with all those changes that has to be made now.
