Idk, shadow, for the first time in a long time, feels pretty good to me now?
Being able to move while channeling void torrent makes the talent feel way better, and the orb it spawns as weaver makes it so your burst isnt gone even if you get kicked.
You actually have a meaningful choice with void torrent because of the orb, you can just use torrent as precog bait and still get a decent burst off with just the orb, and use precog window to get rest of damage rolling.
We got a whole load of problems of our own. Just saying…

ALL priests have that. And because of that, all it takes is for ONE priest spec to be marginally competitive (not necessarily OP) to dominate the meta.
What you are asking in this post is to make Shadow competitive. And some, are asking for Holy to be competitive.
And then, literally 1 DPS slot or 1 healer slot will be taken by Priest. 100% of the time. ANY season. For now and for the foreseeable future.
That is why I am against any Priest reform that does not address the “Elephant in the room” first.
Except that you dont have the option to change talents to the FOTM spec.
And given the OP utility of a priest there will ALWAYS be a “meta” Priest. In EVERY comp.
and in comparison to disc, holy has nothing competitive and is useless in m+ it’s why holy is everytime trash spec in m+ since few seasons

It just happens that this season Disc is the most powerful of all 3 Priest specs. Thats ALL. But for ANY priest spec to not be the “meta pick” you need ALL 3 specs to be trash. Not just Holy.

I dont want to see a SP and Holy talent reform and endure yet ANOTHER season with a meta Priest. At 99% representation. Just because it has PI (among other things). The Disc Shields just make Disc OP. But what makes it meta is PI. Something shared with the other 2 specs, and something that has been happening ever since DF S1. So I know for a FACT the results of your request for a reform. I have 6 seasons of data to prove my point.
Yeah but in over all Unholy dks and balance druids are doing 7/8bil over all more dps and with an easier rotation.
Devouring plague is seriously under tuned as voidweaver-
also halos mind flay feels weak.
Also this set bonus this season is weak compared to it doesn’t do much to help our dot damage. Haste cuts of after a cap reached.
It will unlikely see any changes but letting 2 dps classes do 60% more dps than other classes including shadow feels wonkers.
I think generally 90% the player base hates dicipline priest due to blizzards completely ignorance of the other classes that want to push high end as well but can’t-
have to say. I respect you for having that transmog as a holy priest.
