Does Great Vault loot pool consist of the loot pool of only dungeons you have been in?

I wonder, because if yes, then you can more or less target the item you want from specific dungeon by doing 10 runs of that same dungeon.

Nope got items from a dungeon I didn’t do (did 4x 10 keys) and both loot were from different dungeons.

Its random from all of them

Random for all, I still cant’ find if you get loot from the last two castle bosses though.

U do, but only if u killed them.

But u need to kill em only once to be able to get their loot.

I did kill the sire, but missed 2 other normal bosses so dunno if it would trigger in this case.

Thanks for the info.

“” * Loot from the first eight bosses should always be available in the Great Vault .

  • If you defeat three bosses on Mythic difficulty, your first box on the raiding row can contain any item from the first 8 Mythic bosses.

  • Once you kill Stone Legion Generals on Mythic, that loot will be added to the possibilities from the Great Vault permanently and similarly for Denathrius.

This avoids gaming the system of “I only want to kill these bosses this week to try to get what I want” or “I’m only killing the final two bosses to get the highest possibilities”.""

So unless Mythic, you have to kill the last two guys every week?

Nah, there was another wowhead post i couldnt find, too lazy to google tbh, which said that it doesnt matter the diff, but once u killed them they will always count for their respective difficulties and lower.

Meaning that if u kill them on normal every week u need at least 3 bosses and u can get even sire loot, even if u dont kill him that week ( u killed him at least once before)

If u kill him on HC at least once, he unlock for you on HC, and normal too.

Mythic works similar to HC.

So normal = normal
Hc=Hc and normal
Mythic = mythic Hc and normal.
