Last week the quest gave me 25 derby marks, now I finished it and only got 3…

Do you not have to wait for the daily reset for the quest to show that yields 25 marks? It’s just past midnight atm.
So far I have always done it this way and it gave me 25.

“Hallowfall Fishing Derby” can now be completed on multiple characters, awarding 3 Mereldar Derby Marks.

Same here, completed it last week and got 25.
Completed it this week on the same character and only got 3 marks
Wtf… I don’t really play alts, the kind of bs is this!? They expect people to play 9 characters to make up for the 25???
30+ weeks to buy a 250 marks item with 1 character…

Same boat, very possible. I’ve spend almost an hour hunting last 2 fish so I didn’t get any marks either, seeing that you gain one per unique trophy catch. I would suppose that one didn’t reset correctly yet either.
Feels absolutely miserable knowing it will take at minimum 20 weeks of this to buy out the entire vendor (something early access could work around by doing it on several characters in a day).
Screams player playtime inflation to look good for their stockholders by having some sap spend up to 9 hours instead of 1 for the activity.
And they had the damn audacity of saying they would “respect the player’s time”…

I really hope this is a bug and not intended. Even for people with an army of alts it would be incredibly dull and repetitive to log on every alt and finish it for 3 measly marks each. Specially on those weeks where the trophy fishes are from rarer, more contested pools. 
Nope you cant do it with alts, they dont get the buff. Just tried it

This has GOT to be a bug, why would they want me to spend so much more time for the same amount of coins?
It’s not like saving up for the 500 mog was already super slow with the 25… What a joke

it’s an absolutely awful change. If this:
Wasn’t the case then I guess in theory it would be a buff because you could go beyond the 45 marks a week (25 for the quest, 1 per unique fish type fished up during the quest time limit), but since it’s bugged and doesn’t work on alts you’re actually down from a potential 45 marks a week to 23.
It’s a bugged, bad change. 
Blizzard pls I don’t want to spend all this time on a Saturday fishing for the cosmetics, recipes, and line buffs, please revert this.

Even if it could be done in 10 minutes, I don’t want to do it with 400 characters.
But interestingly, that puddle always doesn’t have what I need. I flew around Hallowfall for 40 minutes before I found a blood in the water.

at least now when I fail to get the uncommon fish from the tonnes of pools i’ve fished in it’s not too much of a disappointment, you’re better off just getting all the unique fish catches.
No chance finishing this quest today. I fished in about 30 Glimmerpools until I finally had my second trophy fish and the last 20 min I just circled around, trying to find blood in the water. I saw quite a couple people circling, I’d say I wasn’t the only one looking for the right pools. I wonder about the spawn rate - I saw plenty of ‘useless’ pools. Maybe they have to be fished until the ‘right’ ones for the quest can spawn? If that’s the case, it might be good to have 2 hours for that particular quest.

I did the same in my boredom. I caught 3 fish in 50 minutes 
But it wasn’t worth it for the 3 medals

It doesn’t even work on alts. Due to Blizzard ‘fixing’ this, I only got 3 marks on my alt, but quickly finished the weekly, so I could do the proper one on my main later and finish the meta achievement (only missing the one you actually need skill for). Only to log her find out you STILL DON’T get the buff, therefor do not get credit for neither weekly quest nor achievement. Now I gotta wait another week, because we are playing beta within >.<

I got the mount (kah) by the second week and the buff has never bugged in, but it’s still pathetic…
Give the quest only 15-20 medals, but allow it to be done with alts (min level 70).
