Some type of middleman service, lots of people willing to help you move gold from 1 server to another for a fee. Possibly also from Classic/TBC > Retail and vice versa too.

Rip world of warcraft, boosting has been done since the original classic, it’s what kept people playing not only for the boosters but also for the boosted,
This will probably lose them a large number of subs.
Do you think people who previously geared alts by boosting because it could be done in a reasonably timely manner that way are going to keep playing, and gear those alts with weeks and weeks of low keys and vaults?
No. They will just play other games instead.
As much as getting rid of spammers is good, it will also cost them more than they realize.

No, boosting is still very much a thing and will continue to be.
Just means it can’t be organized as well, it’s a disappointing change IMO as boosting is the best gold maker and now it will be harder.
But each is welcome to their own view.

I don’t think most people would even care that much if it wasn’t shoved in our faces literally 24/7. Boosting went fairly unnoticed until all these cringe trade chat spammers got going so they only have themselves to blame tbh

In reality, it means that “X community selling boost” will be replaced by “WTS boost”.
How do you prove if it’s part of a boosting community or not.
