Hi, I think I had lots of mats in my mail when I left wow last time. That was at the end of S1. Does the mail still perish after 1 month or should it still be somewhere?
Mail will remain in your mailbox for 30 days. After 30 days, the mail is deleted and any items or gold attached to the mail is lost.

In swtor I have mail from the first day i started the game over 10 years ago.
Really weird wow deletes them still in 2025

If it’s something sent from another player (or at least another character) after 30 days it’ll be returned to sender. If that is deleted after an additional 30 I don’t know.
People use it like a second storage; there has to be some restrictions
Not all mail gets deleted, just mail where players could exploit it, eg self mail and AH.

Mail restoration only covers gear I believe, not mats.

All mail does get deleted.
Just that mail from blizzard is more like 150 day delete time instead of 30
then blizzard probably said : “cba to keep mail .let the dwarf suffer” .
next time buy some lemons in game to keep the bad voodoo away from your character .

I have a mail from “Brew of the Month Club” for years, maybe more than 5-10.
Cant open it cuz Im Starter Edition. Still showing up the mail icon on my right corner.
i think those ones have permanent letters or something in them iirc .
