I like the skill factor in having to time the use of it, and for people to be aware of it incoming.
It can take 50% if you are a resto druid or have autohealslike ele shamans.
I think Mindgames are ab interesting mechanic that is very strong. I think the cool down is too low for an ability that counters als Selfhealing.

It can. It will literally one-shot any Fire Mage’s cauterize, kill Druid’s with Frenzied Regen or similar abilities.
Not that the ability is broken or anything but stop this endless lying and downplaying of the power of everything.

mindgames is a 1.5 sec cast, it’s easy to see it coming, and it can be instant dispelled. it can hit for 7k crit (if you’re lucky and buffed) and it can add 7k if you heal on top of hit (you almost never see that though because of instant dispell). So basically, every 45 seconds, the worst case scenario is you get hit for 14k, and the usual scenario is you get hit for 7 or 8. I’ll let you think about that.

my shadow word death can crit at 11k with proc. my mindgames will not, I’m fair. i’m talking on 30% vers people
never critted at 10k but btw it’s not anough to oneshot someone.
however with all the balance problems that pvp has, if we start criticizing even these stupid things, it’s natural that blizzard doesn’t listen to people on forum.
Honestly I think mind games is a cool spell and the damage doesn’t bother me that much. I do think however that it lasts a little too long if there is no dispell available.
At least Mind Games is somewhat counterable, by interrupting (Shadow Lock is quite nasty too) and dispelling the secondary effect.
Imo it’s quite ok, perhaps a slight tuning?
But then you have instant Harvests, uninterruptable The Hunts, Convokes still globalling people and what not.
Ah yes, the almighty 2.8K Warrior doesn’t even know that Mindgames causes Mages to autokill themselves if they cauterize.

Yes it can, my SP has crit 17k with it (all CDs + skyfury) and at the same time the healer does a heal for 9k = 9k damage = 26k dmg. So for sure, at the right time it can decimate someone.
It does NOT mean its broken however and it does not need a nerf.
I think thoughtsteal is definitely busted but very niche (as in, its useless vs everything but mages lol?) and should be re-designed.
The only confusing thing about mind games imo is that for some reason, its nerfed for disc but not for holy priest.
